Vinh Phuc has 10 students exempted from high school graduation exams and given priority for direct admission to universities and colleges in 2025.

The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued Official Dispatch No. 2154 on exemption from high school graduation exams and priority for direct admission to universities and colleges in 2025.

The document stated that in the exam to select high school students for national teams to compete in international and regional Olympic competitions in 2025, there were 133 students studying in grade 12 in the 2024-2025 school year participating. The Ministry of Education and Training requested the Departments of Education and Training to exempt these students from the high school graduation exam in the 2024-2025 school year according to the regulations of the high school graduation exam.

Along with that, academies, universities and colleges will give priority to direct admission to universities and colleges in 2025 according to the regulations of the admission regulations for these 133 candidates.

Of the 133 students exempted from the high school graduation exam and given priority for direct admission to universities and colleges in 2025, Vinh Phuc has 10 students. They are all excellent students of Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted, including: Nguyen Quang Anh, Pham Dinh Khoi, Bach Thai Son, Duong Van Thang, Tran Ha Trang, Nguyen Minh Tam, Trinh Duc Anh, Phung Thuy Duong, Nguyen Tung Lam, Nguyen Trung Hai.

Nguyen Trung Hai is one of 15 candidates representing Vietnam at the 2025 Asia Pacific Informatics Olympiad, held on May 17-18, 2025 in Uzbekistan; Trinh Duc Anh is one of 4 members representing the Vietnamese team at the Abu Reikhan Beruniy International Chemistry Olympiad, held in Uzbekistan from May 28 to June 4, 2025.
