VN-Index lost 2 points at the end of the week, liquidity decreased

NDO - In the last trading session of the week, March 21, the market continued to fluctuate below the reference level under strong selling pressure; stocks of banking, insurance, energy groups... plummeted along with large codes such as VCB, BID, LPB, GAS... negatively impacted, causing the VN-Index to decrease by 2.05 points at the close of the session, down to 1,321.88 points.

Market liquidity decreased sharply compared to the previous session, with total trading volume on the three exchanges reaching more than 906.73 million shares, equivalent to a total trading value of more than VND 18,263.42 billion.

Foreign investors continued to net sell on all 3 floors more than 764.80 billion VND, focusing on codes VND (more than 144 billion VND), TPB (more than 116 billion VND), SHB (more than 79 billion VND), VIC (more than 76 billion VND), CTG (more than 69 billion VND)...

In the opposite direction, the codes that were net bought a lot in this session included VCI (over 161 billion VND), VHM (over 77 billion VND), SIP (over 69 billion VND), VPI (over 37 billion VND), FPT (over 27 billion VND)...

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value of this session continued to decrease sharply compared to the previous session, reaching more than 15,010.32 billion VND.

In this session, the codes that contributed positively to the VN-Index increased by more than 4.16 points include: VIC, FPT, VHM, HVN, MWG, MBB, VND, VSH, CTG, VCF.

On the contrary, the stocks that negatively impacted the VN-Index by more than 4.09 points included: VCB, BID, LPB, GAS, TPB, VNM, POW, BCM, MSN.

In terms of industry groups, this session, banking stocks were in red, down 0.60%, mainly from VCB, BID, TCB, VPB, ACB , LPB, STB, HDB, VIB, TPB, MSB, OCB... Increasing stocks included CTG, MBB, EIB, NVB, BVB...

Similarly, the insurance stock group decreased by 0.52%, mainly from codes BVH, PVI, VNR, BIC, PRE... Increasing direction included MIG, BMI, PTI, ABI...

Energy stocks in this session also had differentiation, down 0.29%, mainly from codes PVB, TVD, AAH, MDC, HLC, MGC... The increase included codes PVS, THT...

The securities group also had a mixed performance, down 0.04%, mainly from VCI, HCM, VIX, SHS, ORS, DSE, AGR, CTS... Increasing codes included SSI, VND, BSI, TVS, DSC, BVS, APG...

Software stocks had a positive performance this session, with a strong increase of 2.32%, mainly from FPT and CMG codes.

Real estate stocks also diversified, increasing by 0.78%, mainly from codes VIC, VHM, VRE, PDR, KSF, SIP, TCH, SJS... On the contrary, the codes that decreased included BCM, SSH, KBC, NVL, VPI, DXG, SNZ, NLG, DIG, HDG, KOS, CEO...

The retail stock group had a slight increase of 0.08%, mainly from codes MWG, DGW, VFG, PET, CLX, TLP, GMA... On the contrary, the codes that decreased included PNJ, OIL, SAS, HHS, SVC, VPG, MVC, PSD...

The group of raw material stocks this session also had a differentiated performance and increased slightly by 0.07%%, mainly from codes GVR, KSV, MSR, BMP, VCS, PHR, DPR, VIF, ACG... On the contrary, the codes that decreased included DGC, VGC, DCM, DPM, HSG, NTP, TVN, HT1, CSV...

* The Vietnamese stock market index today fluctuated around the reference and closed the session in red, VNXALL-Index closed down 2.07 points (-0.10%), at 2,176.33 points. Liquidity with a trading volume of more than 776.18 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND 16,951 billion. In the whole market, there were 152 stocks increasing in price, 107 stocks remaining unchanged and 210 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 245.82 points, up 0.05 points (+0.02%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 47.59 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND 716.32 billion. In the whole market, 72 stocks increased in price, 69 stocks remained unchanged and 90 stocks decreased in price.

The HNX30 index closed down 0.74 points (-0.15%) to 500.98 points. Trading volume reached over 21.14 million units, equivalent to over VND433.39 billion. In the whole market, 7 stocks increased in price, 11 stocks remained unchanged and 12 stocks decreased in price.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM-Index closed at 99.32 points, up 0.16 points (+0.16%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached more than 52.74 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than 508.56 billion VND. In the whole market, there were 195 stocks increasing in price, 117 stocks remaining unchanged and 162 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed down 2.05 points (-0.15%), to 1,321.88 points. Liquidity reached over 805.37 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND16,960.72 billion. The entire floor had 195 stocks increasing, 89 stocks remaining unchanged and 244 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index decreased by 0.68 points (-0.05%) and stopped at 1,378.27 points. Liquidity reached more than 322.53 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND8,634.91. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 10 stocks increasing, 4 stocks remaining unchanged and 16 stocks decreasing.

The 5 stocks with the highest trading volume are SHB (over 74.60 million units), VND (over 41.07 million units), TPB (over 38.26 million units), VIX (over 28.56 million units), BCG (over 24.49 million units).

The 5 stocks with the highest price increase are HQC (+6.85%), LGL (+6.80%), VAF (+6.78%), SC5 (+6.63%), TNC (+6.51%).

The 5 stocks with the biggest price decrease were ORS (-6.91%), SMA (-6.87%), TCD (-6.43%), VSI (-6.43%), L10 (-6.16%).

* Today's derivatives market had 140,747 contracts traded, worth more than VND 19,334.77 billion.
