VNPT launches AI company, aiming to lead in 'Make in Vietnam' technology.

VNPT AI is expected to become a new driving force and strategic spearhead for VNPT, as well as a symbol of Vietnamese intelligence reaching global heights in the AI ​​era.

Within the framework of the 2026 plan implementation conference held in Hanoi on December 18th, VNPT Group officially launched VNPT AI Company, marking a strategic step in the context of an increasingly完善 legal framework for artificial intelligence.

According to VNPT General Director Huynh Quang Liem, VNPT AI is Vietnam's first AI platform serving billions of transactions, with products that are being widely applied such as iKYC, virtual assistants, and chatbots supporting administrative procedures for citizens, businesses, and the government.

VNPT aims to make VNPT AI a leader in AI research and development, mastering models and scientific works that embody Vietnamese intelligence, and contributing to affirming the nation's scientific and technological capabilities.

In terms of products, VNPT AI focuses on developing AI solutions with high technological content and strong practical application capabilities, initially deploying them extensively within VNPT, realizing the group's "AI First" strategy.

Over the years, VNPT has been actively investing in technology with nearly 200 experts from both domestic and international sources, focusing on GPU infrastructure, large training datasets, and gradually building core AI capabilities.

The corporation currently possesses a 20-petabyte big data infrastructure, processing nearly 20 terabytes per day, and a high-performance computing system with hundreds of petaflops, providing a foundation for developing national-scale AI models.

By the end of 2025, VNPT maintained stable growth with consolidated revenue of VND 61,246 billion, exceeding the plan. During the 2021-2025 period, total revenue reached nearly VND 288,000 billion, pre-tax profit exceeded VND 31,400 billion, and tax contributions to the state budget exceeded VND 27,200 billion, fulfilling and surpassing assigned targets.
