VNPT is ready to respond to storm Ragasa
To proactively respond to storm Ragasa and floods caused by storms, since September 22, the VNPT Group's Natural Disaster Prevention Command has directed VNPT in affected provinces and cities to immediately deploy plans to respond to storms and heavy rains causing floods and landslides.
Accordingly, VNPT has increased 30 mobile broadcasting vehicles, 90 field broadcasting stations, 50 Inmarsat satellite phones and Vsat-IP stations and prepared satellite transmission lines, deployed VSAT transmission lines, to ensure Information work and direction of natural disaster prevention to local authorities in storm-affected areas.
Up to this point, VNPT units have deployed the work of reviewing the telecommunications network infrastructure, reducing the load on antenna poles at risk of being unsafe, fully arranging backup materials (radio equipment, transmission, manE, optical cables, optical MX ...), ready to respond to information in incident situations.

Ready to deploy information security solutions for networks and services and prepare voice roaming scenarios with network operators.
Along with arranging 24/7 staff at all telecommunication stations of units in the storm area, VNPT has also prepared 1,000 human resources and vehicles and tools of units outside the storm's affected area to be ready to support units in the storm area in rescue and network restoration after the storm.
Urgently and synchronously deploy disaster prevention plans
Faced with the complicated developments of storm Ragasa, MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation has also proactively and urgently deployed synchronous plans to prevent natural disasters, ensure the safety of telecommunications infrastructure and maintain uninterrupted information to serve people in affected areas.
With the spirit of "three ready, four on-site", MobiFone has mobilized all resources, materials and spare equipment to be ready to respond to the storm. Key infrastructure systems such as broadcasting stations, transmission lines, antenna towers, and power systems have been inspected, reinforced, refueled and raised to prevent flooding.
The unit has also prepared enough backup power sources, ensuring that 100% of generators have enough fuel and are ready to operate, and arranged generators and backup portable batteries throughout the network to serve emergency response when necessary. MobiFone's on-site leadership and resources and partners are mobilized in key locations such as Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, etc.
