(Dan Tri) - Actor couple Anh Duc - Anh Pham will wear wedding ao dai, performing the opening performance of designer Nguyen Truong Duy's new collection in the fashion show "Pink Show 5" taking place in Can Tho on December 8.

The fashion show featured the participation of four designers, including Thuan Viet, Hoai Sang, Nguyen Truong Duy and Tuan Tran. To prepare for the show, the models participating in the show were all present to try on the outfits.

Although they were in the US for their honeymoon, the couple still tried to arrange to return home for the fashion show. During the costume fitting, Anh Pham showed off her radiant beauty in pink and red ao dai. She was praised for her increasingly beautiful appearance after getting married.

Anh Duc was also meticulously groomed by designer Nguyen Truong Duy in a blue ao dai. The comedian said that although he had already been married, this time he and his wife wore wedding ao dai on the fashion stage, so he was a bit "nervous".

Designer Do Manh Cuong's two adopted daughters, Linh Dan and Mymy, also performed. In addition, this fashion show also brought back many faces to the catwalk.

Designer Nguyen Truong Duy said that after accepting the invitation from director Nguyen Hung Phuc, he focused all his human resources and prepared for nearly 5 months for this show.

"Almost all of the factory's staff work day and night and overtime. I'm always sleep deprived," the designer confided.

Designer Nguyen Truong Duy revealed that he will bring a wedding collection including dresses inspired by orchids and ao dai inspired by traditional wedding costumes of the South in the 2000s.

The main materials of the collection are silk, silk, taffeta. In addition, organza, satin are imported by designer Nguyen Truong Duy from Korea, Italy, along with linen and mesh. All designs are hand-embroidered, woven and handmade. The designer revealed that on average, a wedding dress costs him 50-70m of fabric, some dresses up to 100m.

Designer Nguyen Truong Duy is no longer a strange name in the Vietnamese fashion industry. Up to now, he has been pursuing design work for 20 years. In addition, he has been a lecturer in fashion design for 16 years. In 2023, he caused a stir when he designed a dress worth 50 billion VND for a businesswoman.
