Pretend to buy gold then take it and run away

On the evening of May 23, Trang Bom District Police ( Dong Nai Province) said they were investigating a case in which a young man pretended to buy gold and then ran away with it.

Accordingly, at 3 p.m. the same day, a young man about 25 years old rode a motorbike to the KMV gold shop (Ho Nai 3 commune, Trang Bom district) to ask to buy gold. After that, the subject left and drove around the area to investigate.

A few minutes later, a young man riding a motorbike with a covered license plate returned to the shop and demanded to buy gold worth more than 20 million VND. When the shop owner brought out the gold, the subject took it and ran away. The shop owner shouted and quickly chased after him. Afterwards, the young man was surrounded by people and handed over to the police.

Ho Nai 3 Commune Police coordinated with District Police to quickly arrive, take statements from related people, and extract camera footage for investigation.
