VSIP reaches 26 projects, with 5 additional licenses for new project development.

The Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture has just been granted an Investment Registration Certificate to develop five more industrial parks across the country.

Accordingly, the VSIP joint venture will develop five more industrial parks in localities including Hai Phong , Nghe An, Hue, Ha Nam, and Ho Chi Minh City. With the addition of these five licensed projects, the total number of VSIP projects in Vietnam has increased to 26, bringing it closer to the target of 30 projects set by the leaders of the two governments.

The convergence point of strategic choices

In the context of an international market increasingly applying stringent and mandatory standards such as carbon sequestration mechanisms (CBAM), ESG standards, and net-zero emission targets, VSIP has proactively developed its industrial park ecosystem using various flexible and advanced models.

Building upon the foundation of a smart industrial park with integrated management applications, a prime example of which has been implemented at VSIP III Binh Duong since 2023, VSIP is undergoing a strong transformation towards a model similar to VSIP 2.0, offering a differentiated portfolio to meet the diverse needs of various industries and long-term sustainable development goals.

With a nationwide network of industrial parks, VSIP not only affirms its brand reputation but also offers investors a diverse portfolio of choices, flexibly meeting different needs in terms of industry, development standards, and groundbreaking sustainable orientations for the future.

Realizing the vision

At the recent Vietnam-Singapore Technology Connectivity Forum, VSIP introduced the VSIP 2.0 model, marking a strategic turning point towards high-value, sustainable, and innovative industrial park ecosystems. The highlight of VSIP 2.0 is the activation of a tripartite model: the State, educational institutions, and businesses, thereby synchronizing the efforts of the government , academic institutions, and enterprises.

By bridging the gap between scientific research and industrial application, VSIP 2.0 ensures that investors not only compete on cost but are also integrated into the future ecosystem of human resources and technology. The VSIP 2.0 orientation was realized at the Forum through the exchange of Memorandums of Understanding between VSIP and Luxshare and Coherent.

These agreements reflect the tripartite collaboration in practical action: combining smart industrial park operations with digital transformation and innovation-based manufacturing to develop a synchronized, integrated industrial ecosystem instead of fragmented, disjointed development.
