At the polling stations, preparations were complete; from the entrance gates to the voting areas, everything was neat and tidy, with simple yet dignified decorations.

Mr. Hoang Van Huan (70 years old, residing in Hamlet 2, Tan Hong Commune) said this is the 11th time he has participated in the great national event of voting. This year, the decorations at the polling stations have been renewed, simple yet very beautiful and dignified.

"Another innovation is that voter lists and voter cards are printed in a standardized format with a nice background and complete information, thanks to new technology that speeds up some processes. I remember in the early years of my voting, voter cards were only handwritten."

"The roads here are very convenient now, so going to vote is easy; I don't see any difficulties," Mr. Huan said.

Meanwhile, Nguyen Thi Bao Tran (26 years old, residing in Hamlet 3), a young and active member of the Youth Union participating in election preparations at polling station No. 23, Tan Hong commune, expressed her joy at being a member of the election committee for the first time.

"The election of representatives to the People's Councils at all levels is an important political event for the country, and I am very happy to participate in helping the election committee. Before that, I and my colleagues decorated the polling station, arranged the supplies, reviewed the voter list, and shared lunches together... all of these are memorable moments," Bao Tran said.

At polling station number 24, Ms. Tran Thi Phuong - Deputy Director of the Tan Hong Commune Political Center, Head of Polling Station No. 24 - said that they have completed the distribution of voter cards to 545 voters, and preparations are complete, ready for the election on March 15th.

"With a moderate number of voters, the team members are assigned specific tasks. Upon receiving their voter cards, voters can use the QR code to locate their polling station. Currently, some voters who work far from home are also proactively returning to their locality to vote," Ms. Phuong said.

Ms. Dao Ngoc Bich, Chairwoman of the Tan Hong Commune People's Committee, also informed that the entire commune has established 7 electoral units and 25 polling stations with a total of 22,295 voters. At this point, preparations have been completed, and everything is ready for the official election day.

"The unique characteristics of border communes, with their large area and many residents working far from home, have made the initial work of reviewing, cross-referencing, and posting voter lists challenging. The polling stations have coordinated with the local police to conduct the review and implement appropriate solutions."

"Currently, the issuance of voter cards has been completed, and the voter list continues to be reviewed and updated according to regulations. Election propaganda work has also been intensified with a total of more than 500 news articles and radio broadcasts twice a day," Ms. Bich said.

Dong Thap province has established 102 election committees corresponding to 102 communes and wards to carry out election work, and simultaneously established 712 election boards for commune-level People's Council representatives for the 2026-2031 term in 712 electoral units, comprising representatives from state agencies, political organizations, socio-political organizations, social organizations, and local voter representatives. The entire province currently has 2,009 polling stations, corresponding to 2,009 polling teams.
