The Hong Dan commune police are collaborating with Mobifone in the digital transformation process to support residents in checking SIM card information or using free SIM cards.
Regarding the permanent role of the commune's Project 06, the Hong Dan Commune Police advised the Commune People's Committee to prepare a decision on the establishment of a Steering Committee to implement the Project in the area, and to develop related plans and targets. This included organizing a high-intensity campaign to educate and guide people on using level 2 electronic identification – the main platform for carrying out all administrative procedures on public services. Special priority was given to assisting elderly people and disadvantaged families who rarely use smartphones and do not yet have electronic identification.
With the above methods, the Hong Dan Commune Police also established a team to guide and resolve administrative procedures at the unit, consisting of 8 officers from the commune police and local security forces, with 2 officers on duty per day to support and guide the people. This has created a positive impression in the hearts of the people, making them satisfied.
Contributing to the nationwide digitalization journey.
Hong Dan commune currently has a relatively large geographical area, and the commune's police force has actively applied technology in managing residency , handling administrative procedures, and monitoring the local situation. The police force has also promoted digital transformation in its operational work. Internal software, hamlet security Zalo groups, and a synchronized surveillance camera system have helped both police officers and residents quickly monitor and update the situation, identify hotspots, and enhance crime prevention and surveillance capabilities.

Major Van Cong Sang, Deputy Head of Hong Dan Commune Police, said: “The unit's command always emphasizes to all officers and soldiers the central role of the people in the digital transformation process. Currently, 100% of administrative procedures are carried out electronically by the commune police. In July alone, Hong Dan Commune Police processed 100% of residence, identity card, and vehicle registration applications; and issued level 2 electronic identification for 775 cases to enable citizens to access public services.”
With a determination to maintain and improve upon its achievements, the Hong Dan Commune Police have been actively contributing to the national digital transformation. This is not just an administrative task, but also a major shift in awareness and action, realizing Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
