"Rice from Phuong Ba, fish from Binh Long" - this saying, passed down through generations, is a source of pride for the local people. Today, as the three regions of Binh Long, Phuong Giao, and Dan Tien are united, this saying resonates with renewed joy, symbolizing the convergence of fragrant rice, sweet stream fish, and enduring bonds of friendship. Dan Tien - preserving the spirit of the past while nurturing the aspiration to build a civilized, prosperous, and beautiful homeland.

Rice produced in the Phuong Ba fields has become one of the famous specialties of Dan Tien commune.

The first Party Congress of Dan Tien Commune, for the 2025-2030 term, has become a significant milestone in the process of building and developing the homeland. Comrade Vu Thi Hue, Secretary of the Commune Party Committee, emphasized: The merger is not just an adjustment of administrative boundaries, but a connection of tradition, wisdom, and trust. Based on this foundation, the Party Committee, government, and people of Dan Tien Commune are determined to build the locality to achieve advanced new rural standards in the coming time.

Looking back at the 2020-2025 period, although each locality has its own unique characteristics, the development journey has not been smooth. However, it is precisely in times of hardship that the spirit of solidarity has been further forged. Mr. Vu Trong Hiep, Secretary of the An Long hamlet Party branch, shared: "There was a time when the epidemic broke out, agricultural products were difficult to sell, and many households were struggling, not knowing how to cope."

In that situation, commune officials and Party members in the hamlets persistently propagated and encouraged the people to maintain their faith, cling to their fields and gardens, and not abandon production. Thanks to this support, the people continued to maintain and develop the economy according to the local direction, contributing to positive results in the final stage of the term.

It is also thanks to that spirit of "perseverance and determination" that, in the five years from 2020 to 2025, the Party Committee of Dan Tien commune has admitted nearly 150 new Party members; the locality has built many successful "people mobilization" models, inspiring the spirit of donating land and contributing labor to build roads and schools, changing the face of the rural area.

Rural infrastructure in Dan Tien commune has received significant investment, creating an important foundation for socio-economic development.

The agricultural economy is gradually flourishing with fragrant Bao Thai rice fields, vast areas of fruit and perennial crops, and distinctive products such as Binh Long tofu, free-range chicken, and Phuong Giao black sticky rice cakes... gradually establishing their brands. Infrastructure such as transportation, central markets, schools, and cultural centers have been invested in and built, creating a new look and laying the foundation for further development. Local budget revenue has increased nearly 1.5 times compared to the beginning of the term, demonstrating effective management efforts and the unity of the people.

Ms. Pham Thi Dung, Head of the Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thang hamlet, shared: "What makes us most proud is not the well-maintained roads or cultural center, but the spirit of 'everyone contributing a hand'. In the hamlet, some households have donated hundreds of square meters of land, and some families have brought tools and contributed their efforts, treating the common good as their own."

In addition to economic and infrastructure improvements, socio-cultural life has also seen many positive changes. To date, 13 out of 15 schools in the commune have met national standards, and the poverty rate has decreased to 7.06%. Cultural, sports, and festival activities are maintained, contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people while preserving their cultural identity. Notably, Dan Tien has initially made its mark on the digital transformation journey with promising results in implementing electronic identification, digitizing population, civil registration, and labor data.

However, entering a new phase of development, Dan Tien commune still faces many challenges such as: the value of agricultural products is not yet high, the number of OCOP products is still small, poverty reduction results are not sustainable, and educational infrastructure is not yet synchronized. In addition, some people still have a mindset of relying on government support. These are issues that the new term must focus on resolving.

Entering the 2025-2030 term, Dan Tien commune aims to achieve the advanced new rural standard, exploit over 8,900 hectares of forest to develop the hill and forest economy, and utilize the Thai Nguyen - Lang Son expressway to attract investment. In addition, unique cultural features such as the La Che historical site, the Oc archaeological cave, the Quan Che dam, and the unique "Harvest Prayer" festival of the Dao Lo Gang people will be valuable potentials for the locality to focus on developing community-based and eco-tourism linked to indigenous culture...

Following the merger of the three former communes into Dan Tien commune, the convergence of these three regions went beyond simply expanding the area or increasing the population; it also created a synergy of shared beliefs and aspirations. Under the leadership of the Party Committee, with the involvement of the entire political system and the consensus of the people, Dan Tien today is opening a new door, promising a dynamic, civilized, and distinctive development journey in the future.
