“Phuong Ba rice, Binh Long fish” - a saying passed down through many generations as a source of pride for local people. Today, when the three homelands of Binh Long, Phuong Giao and Dan Tien are united, that reminder resounds with new joy, symbolizing the convergence of fragrant rice grains, sweet stream fish and lasting affection. Dan Tien - both preserves the old spirit and nurtures the aspiration to rise up and build a civilized and prosperous homeland.

Rice products made from Phuong Ba fields have become one of the famous specialties of Dan Tien commune.

The first Congress of the Party Committee of Dan Tien Commune, term 2025-2030, has become an important milestone in the process of building and developing the homeland. Comrade Vu Thi Hue, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Commune, emphasized: The merger is not only an adjustment of administrative boundaries, but also a connection of tradition, wisdom and trust. On that foundation, the Party Committee, government and people of Dan Tien Commune are determined to build the locality to meet advanced new rural standards in the coming time.

Looking back at the 2020-2025 period, although each locality has its own characteristics, the development journey is not smooth. However, it is in the midst of hardship that the spirit of solidarity is further fostered. Mr. Vu Trong Hiep, Secretary of the An Long hamlet Party Cell, shared: There was a time when the epidemic broke out, agricultural products were difficult to sell, and many households were struggling not knowing how to cope.

Faced with that situation, commune cadres and party members in the hamlets persistently propagated and encouraged people to maintain their faith, stick to their fields and gardens, and not abandon production. Thanks to that companionship, people continued to maintain economic development according to the local direction, contributing to creating positive results at the end of the term.

Thanks to that spirit of "perseverance and perseverance", in the 5 years of 2020-2025, the Party Committee of Dan Tien commune has admitted nearly 150 new party members; the locality has built many models of "skillful mass mobilization", arousing the spirit of land donation, contributing to opening roads, building schools, changing the face of the countryside.

Rural infrastructure in Dan Tien commune has received investment attention, creating an important foundation for socio-economic development.

The agricultural economy has gradually improved with fragrant Bao Thai rice fields, large areas of fruit trees and perennial trees, and typical products such as Binh Long tofu, free-range chicken, Phuong Giao black banh chung... gradually affirming the brand. Traffic infrastructure, central markets, schools, and cultural houses have been invested in, creating a new look and laying the foundation for the next step of development. Local budget revenue has increased nearly 1.5 times compared to the beginning of the term, demonstrating effective management efforts and the consensus of the people.

Ms. Pham Thi Dung, Head of the Dong Thang Hamlet Front Committee, shared: What makes us most proud is not the spacious roads or cultural houses, but the spirit of "each person contributing a hand". In the hamlet, there are households that donated several hundred square meters of land, and families that brought tools to contribute, considering the common work as their own.

On the economic and infrastructure foundation, cultural and social life has also seen many positive changes. Up to now, 13/15 schools in the commune have met national standards, the poverty rate has decreased to 7.06%. Cultural, sports and festival activities have been maintained, contributing to improving people's spiritual life and preserving identity. In particular, Dan Tien has initially made its mark on the digital transformation journey with positive results in implementing electronic identification, digitizing population data, household registration, labor, etc.

However, entering a new development stage, Dan Tien commune still faces many challenges such as: the value of agricultural products is not high, the number of OCOP products is still low, the poverty reduction results are not sustainable, and the educational facilities are not synchronized. Besides, a part of the people still have the mindset of waiting for State support. These are the issues that the new term must focus on solving.

Entering the 2025-2030 term, Dan Tien commune sets a breakthrough goal of achieving advanced new rural standards, exploiting more than 8,900 hectares of forest to develop the forest hill economy, taking advantage of the Thai Nguyen - Lang Son expressway to attract investment. In addition, unique cultural features such as: La Che historical relic, Oc archaeological cave, Quan Che dam, and the unique "Cau Mua" festival of the Dao Lo Gang people will be valuable potentials for the locality to focus on developing community and ecological tourism associated with indigenous culture...

After merging three old communes into Dan Tien commune, the convergence of three rural areas does not stop at expanding the area or increasing the population, but also creates a resonance of beliefs and aspirations. Under the leadership of the Party Committee, with the participation of the entire political system and the consensus of the people, Dan Tien today is opening a new door, promising a dynamic, civilized and distinctive development journey in the future.
