Ea Ktur commune launches "Tree Planting Festival to forever remember President Ho Chi Minh"

On the morning of May 19th, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ea Ktur commune organized the launching ceremony of the "Tree Planting Festival to Forever Remember Uncle Ho" in commemoration of the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026).

This is a practical activity to commemorate the great contributions of beloved President Ho Chi Minh, and to continue spreading his teachings on the role and significance of planting trees and reforestation for the life and sustainable development of the country.

Pham Van Phuc, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ea Ktur commune, delivered the opening remarks.

In his opening remarks at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Ea Ktur Commune People's Committee Pham Van Phuc emphasized the practical significance of the "Tree Planting Festival in Eternal Gratitude to Uncle Ho" movement, contributing to raising awareness of environmental protection, building a green, clean, and beautiful landscape, aiming for sustainable development, and spreading the spirit of responsibility among officials, union members, and the people in jointly building an increasingly civilized, prosperous, and beautiful homeland.

At the ceremony, youth representatives and the village's management board delivered speeches in support of the movement, expressing their determination to actively plant and care for trees together with the government and people, contributing to creating a beautiful landscape and protecting the environment.

The commune leaders planted trees after the launching ceremony.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, leaders, officials, youth union members, and people in the area planted trees in the courtyard of the Ea Ktur Commune Public Service Center; thereby creating a vibrant and practical atmosphere in response to the "Tree Planting Festival to Forever Remember Uncle Ho" movement, contributing to building Ea Ktur commune into an increasingly green, civilized, and sustainably developed area.
