Attending the Congress were comrades: Bo Thi Xuan Linh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Tran Van Thuong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, and leaders of departments, branches and localities.
The new Hoa Thang commune was established on the basis of merging two administrative units including Hoa Thang commune and Hong Phong commune; adjusting a part of the natural area of 2.1 km2 of Hoa Thang commune to Hong Thai commune, with a natural area of 328.09 km2 ; population size of 11,558 people. The Hoa Thang commune Party Committee consists of 20 branches and affiliated party committees with 397 party members.
During the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee of Hoa Thang commune has promoted the spirit of solidarity, innovation, and successfully led the implementation of most socio -economic targets, bringing about many remarkable results, creating a solid foundation for Hoa Thang commune to develop strongly in the coming time.
The tourism and service - trade sectors are focused on development, encouraging investment expansion. Types of resort tourism , eco- tourism associated with culture and history in the commune have attracted an average of over 200,000 visitors each year, of which domestic visitors account for 85%, international visitors account for 15%.
Agriculture, forestry and fishery continued to be promoted in the right direction, focusing on restructuring crops and livestock in the direction of local advantages to promote economic efficiency.
Industry and handicrafts are gradually being effectively promoted. The whole commune has 31 handicraft production establishments of all kinds. There are 4 wind power projects, 2 solar power projects; the total output from 2022 to present has reached 650.3 MWh, the total revenue has reached over 1,290 billion VND. There are 2 titanium mining projects, 3 titanium raw ore screening factories. There are 4 solar power plants and 1 wind power plant with an area of 366.77 hectares, which have been put into operation with a total capacity of over 400 MWp, contributing greatly to the local budget and creating jobs for a part of the local labor force.
In addition, social security and gratitude policies continue to receive attention and be effectively implemented, people's lives are gradually improved, and national defense and security are maintained.
Party building and the political system have many positive changes, democracy has been promoted, and the great national unity bloc has been firmly consolidated.
Entering the 2025 - 2030 term, with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", Hoa Thang commune aims to focus on perfecting and building a clean and strong commune Party Committee, Party organization and political system, building a contingent of cadres and Party members with sufficient capacity and qualities, equal to new requirements and tasks; exploiting all potentials and advantages of the locality to shift the economic structure towards Industry - Trade, Services - Agriculture; strengthening national defense tasks, maintaining security, social order and safety; improving and enhancing people's lives.
Strive to complete targets such as building and maintaining advanced new rural communes, aiming to achieve a model new rural commune after 2030; average income per capita reaching over 80 million VND/year; eliminating poor households by 2030; having 95% of children under 1 year old fully vaccinated...
Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Bo Thi Xuan Linh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, emphasized: Hoa Thang Commune Party Committee is a new Party Committee, established from the merger of two commune Party Committees, with a relatively large natural area. Therefore, the grassroots Party organizations under the Commune Party Committee need to be truly exemplary and take the lead in Party building and rectification work. At the same time, the Party Committee and its subordinate Party Committees must proactively coordinate with the collective leadership of agencies and units to well perform assigned professional tasks, contributing to the Party Committees in the province and the Provincial Party Committee in leading the good implementation of the tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security and Party building work in the whole province.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee believes that, with the tradition of the heroic commune and the experience of previous terms, along with the new spirit from this Congress, the Hoa Thang Commune Party Committee will promote the achievements, perform well the assigned functions and tasks, continue to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee; unite, be democratic, innovate, develop, build a truly clean and strong Party Committee, contributing together with the entire Party Committee and the People to build the province to be increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized.
Also at the Congress, delegates discussed and contributed opinions on the draft documents to be submitted to the Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term and the documents of the 14th National Party Congress. At the same time, they voted to approve the contents of the draft Congress Resolution.
According to Decision No. 2346-QD/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Hoa Thang Commune Party Committee were appointed for the 2025-2030 term.
Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Hoa Thang Commune Party Committee consists of 18 comrades; the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee consists of 7 comrades. Comrade Nguyen Duc Hai Tung was appointed to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary; comrades Nguyen Huu Duy and Nguyen Cong Ly were appointed to hold the position of Deputy Party Committee Secretaries.
