In addition to caring for and supporting disadvantaged students to attend school, over the years, the Associations for the Promotion of Learning at all levels in Ca Mau province have actively spread the spirit of lifelong learning in the community. From schools to residential areas, from students and workers to farmers, the self-learning movement, "learning never ends," has increasingly developed and spread, contributing to raising the intellectual level, developing the economy, and building a learning society in Ca Mau.

For students today, learning is not just about acquiring knowledge, but also a journey of self-discovery and self-improvement. Beyond classroom time, many students proactively seek knowledge through books, newspapers, and the internet, and participate in extracurricular activities to develop life skills and achieve holistic development .

Mr. Truong Du Thai, Chairman of the Ly Van Lam Ward Education Promotion Association, visited and encouraged Khuong Le Anh Duy to continue striving in his studies.

As a top student for many consecutive years and one of the recipients of the 6th " Learning Never Ends " scholarship in 2026, implemented by the Central Association for the Promotion of Learning of Vietnam , Khuong Le Anh Duy, a 9th-grade student at Ly Van Lam Secondary and High School, Ly Van Lam Ward, always strives to overcome difficulties and excel in his studies. Outside of school hours, Duy primarily studies at home through books, the internet, and real-life experiences.

Duy shared: “Thanks to proactive self-study, I have maintained good academic results for many years. I think that without knowledge, it will be very difficult later on, so I always try my best to study to fulfill my dream of becoming a doctor.”

Ms. Le Thanh Dien, Anh Duy's mother, said: "Seeing my son being well-behaved and excelling in his studies makes me very happy and proud. Despite the hardships of life, the family always tries to encourage and remind him to continue striving in his studies so that he can have a stable career in the future, support himself, and help the family."

Ho Quynh Nhu, a student in Class 3/1 at Dinh Bo Linh Primary School in Hiep Thanh Ward, is one of the students from disadvantaged backgrounds who has received scholarships from the Hiep Thanh Ward Education Promotion Association for many years. She shared: "I will try my best to study well so that when I grow up I will have a stable job, help my family, and become a useful member of society."

From inspiring examples of perseverance and a thirst for knowledge like Anh Duy and Quỳnh Như, we can see that a proactive learning spirit not only helps students accumulate knowledge but also provides motivation to nurture their dreams. The care and support of family, school, and society will be an important source of encouragement, helping them to be more confident in their studies and look towards a better future.

Learning today is not limited to schools; it has become a constant need for people of all ages and professions, enabling them to update their knowledge for work, production, and daily life.

In many localities, training courses on the transfer of science and technology, guidance on the application of technology in crop cultivation, livestock farming, and aquaculture, along with many effective production models, are regularly organized, attracting a large number of people to participate. This contributes to improving knowledge, innovating production thinking, and encouraging people to boldly apply science and technology to their work and production.

Mr. Du Van Phuc, residing in Hamlet 1, Ho Thi Ky Commune, said: “Previously, I mainly relied on experience. Since participating in training courses organized by the local authorities, I have learned many new techniques in shrimp farming and rice cultivation. As a result, production has become more efficient, and my family's income has also improved.”

Thanks to participating in farming technique training courses, Mr. Du Van Phuc (third from the left) has successfully applied and implemented a combined rice-shrimp farming model, achieving economic efficiency.

In the same locality, Mr. Vo Cong Trang shared: “Nowadays, if you don't diligently learn, it's difficult to keep up with others. Thanks to participating in training courses and learning from neighbors, I know how to apply new techniques to the integrated rice-shrimp farming model, which helps reduce costs and improve economic efficiency. I hope the locality will open more training courses so that people have the opportunity to learn more.”

According to Mr. Trinh Minh Thanh, Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial Association for the Promotion of Learning, in the coming time, the Associations at all levels will continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, replicate effective learning models, and create conditions for people to improve their knowledge and skills to meet the requirements of development in the new period.

"At the same time, the associations at all levels will also step up propaganda to help people understand that learning is not only for students but is a lifelong need for everyone. When people have a spirit of learning, their lives and quality of life will gradually improve," Mr. Thanh emphasized.

Training courses on transferring scientific and technical knowledge in rice production attract a large number of farmers.

Lifelong learning is no longer just a slogan but is becoming a practical need for every citizen. From classrooms in schools and communities to the proactive spirit of people seeking new knowledge, the lifelong learning movement is spreading strongly in Ca Mau province, contributing to raising the intellectual level of the population, developing human resources, and building a sustainable society.
