Muong Khieng Commune pays tribute to wounded soldiers and martyrs' relatives

Towards the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 25, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Muong Khieng commune offered incense and flowers to commemorate heroic martyrs at the "Martyrs' Memorial Houses", and at the same time visited and presented gifts to express gratitude to war invalids and martyrs' families in Muong Khieng commune.

Leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations of the commune offered incense and flowers at the "Martyrs' Memorial House" in Muong Khieng commune.

At the ceremony, leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, together with representatives of departments, branches and organizations, respectfully offered incense and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs. Representatives of Muong Khieng commune expressed their gratitude and reported on the program of the 1st Congress of the Commune Party Committee, term 2025-2030, taking place on July 26. The Congress is an important political event, marking a strong change in the leadership and direction of local economic and social development.

Leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs.

On the same day, the leaders of Muong Khieng commune presented 18 gifts from the People's Committee of Son La province and the commune to war invalids, families of martyrs, and those who sacrificed and contributed to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

On this occasion, the commune assigned 3 working groups to visit and present gifts to 44 families of martyrs and war invalids in the area. This is a meaningful activity, not only to engrave the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source" but also to contribute to strengthening the relationship between the government and the people, adding motivation for families to promote revolutionary traditions, enthusiastically work, produce, and build their homeland.
