On the afternoon of October 1, the People's Committee of Phu Yen commune mobilized the Commune Police, the Commune Military Command, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Phu Yen area and local forces to urgently evacuate 2 households in Lem village out of the area at risk of landslides due to the impact of storm No. 10.

Two households, including Mr. Phung Duc Tien and Mrs. Dinh Thi Quynh, with a total of 10 people, are living in an area with serious cracks, breaks, and subsidence on the roadbed stretching nearly 100m, more than 50cm deep, with a high risk of landslides, affecting life and property.

Phu Yen Commune People's Committee has established a working group to directly propagate and mobilize people to relocate to the village cultural house for temporary residence. At the same time, mobilize functional forces to organize the relocation of all assets, household items, livestock, dismantle houses, fences and put up danger warning signs; open temporary roads to serve the safe travel of people. The Commune People's Committee also assigned forces to be on duty 24/24h, closely monitor the geological situation of the area, ready to respond when there are new developments; at the same time, warn people not to enter dangerous areas.
