Tan An commune operates effectively after the merger.

On September 10th, the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee's working group, led by Comrade Le Chi Hieu, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, visited Tan An commune to conduct a field inspection and assess the effectiveness of the local government's operations at both levels after the merger.

The working session of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee's Task Force in Tan An commune was led by Comrade Le Chi Hieu, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department.

Reporting at the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee stated: Tan An Commune has an area of ​​218.3 km² and a population of 23,787 people, formed by the merger of Tam Giang Tay and Tan An Tay communes. After its establishment, the commune quickly streamlined its organization and apparatus. The commune Party Committee currently has 35 subordinate branches with 706 Party members. The Commune People's Council has 52 delegates, divided into 10 groups, operating in 20 hamlets.

The Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee's working group highly appreciated the sense of responsibility shown by the officials and civil servants of Tan An commune in fulfilling their assigned tasks.

According to Comrade Le Chi Huong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune, the work of cadres, civil servants, and public employees has been basically consolidated to meet the requirements of the tasks. The total allocated staff is 253, with 230 currently employed. The People's Council and People's Committee block has 40 people; the education sector has 9 schools with 195 allocated staff positions, with 182 currently employed. However, the commune still lacks human resources, especially in the fields of information technology and economics .

Comrade Le Chi Hieu highly appreciated the results achieved, while noting that Tan An commune needs to continue to build upon its achievements and overcome difficulties in the context of a large workload and many officials taking on new responsibilities.

The inspection team conducted an on-site visit to the Tan An Commune Public Administrative Service Center. The staff were working diligently, and the facilities and equipment basically met the requirements.

On the same day, the Task Force conducted on-site inspections of the commune People's Committee offices and the Public Administrative Service Center, listening to suggestions from the grassroots level, demonstrating the provincial leadership's concern for the stabilization and development of the administrative unit after the merger.
