The decisive match between CAHN andSHB Da Nang was tense when the Han River team only needed a draw, while CAHN had to win to get a ticket to the quarter-finals of the National U17 2025.
After a tight first half, SHB Da Nang increased the speed in the second half and in the 49th minute, Xuan Phuc swooped in to score the opening goal. Not accepting being eliminated, CAHN pressed strongly.

In the 69th minute, Minh Dat broke through from midfield before passing to Long Nhat to shoot diagonally, equalizing 1-1. However, in the last minute of extra time, Anh Luc shot from a long range to seal a 2-1 victory for SHB Da Nang, thereby taking first place in the group.
In the same match, Ho Chi Minh City FC and Nam Dinh drew 0-0. This result put SHB Da Nang at the top of Group A with 6 points, Ho Chi Minh City second with 5 points, and Nam Dinh third with 4 points - all three advanced.
At the end of the group stage, eight teams entered the quarterfinals, including: SHB Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Nam Dinh (Group A); SLNA, Hanoi (Group B); PVF-CAND, The Cong Viettel and An Giang (Group C). An Giang became one of the two third-placed teams with the best record thanks to being better than Becamex Ho Chi Minh City in terms of goals scored despite having 3 points and a goal difference of -5. The remaining spot belongs to Nam Dinh.
