Setting a record for the artist who uses the most different materials in painting in Vietnam.

TPO - Artist Nguyen Tien showcased a total of 9 art forms including dynamic sand painting, glitter painting, water painting (splashing paint), fire painting, watercolor painting, reverse watercolor painting, electric painting, spray painting, knife painting, and jigsaw puzzle painting.

On June 16th, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam Record Organization (Vietkings) announced the establishment of a record for the artist who performs stage painting using the most diverse forms and materials in Vietnam, recognizing Mr. Nguyen Van Tien. The organization announced and acknowledged Mr. Nguyen Van Tien (stage name Nguyen Tien) as the person who has elevated stage painting performance art to a new level with 9 diverse and creative forms and materials.

Artist Nguyen Tien showcased a total of nine art forms, including dynamic sand painting, glitter painting, water painting (splash painting), fire painting, watercolor painting, reverse watercolor painting, electric painting, spray painting, knife painting, and jigsaw puzzle painting. For the sand painting category, artist Nguyen Tien used materials such as coffee beans, cashews, and rice grains.

Sharing at the ceremony, artist Nguyen Tien said that instead of painting in a room, he would perform a painting on stage for a short time, about a few minutes, so that the audience could witness the entire painting process. This would be combined with sound, images, and lighting. To further enhance the appeal of the performance, over time, Nguyen Tien has explored and created many different materials and techniques to surprise and excite the audience.

Artist Nguyen Tien (born in 1990, from Nam Dinh province) has had a passion for painting since childhood. He has spent 12 years pursuing and maintaining the flame of performance painting. Through his performances, the artist incorporates and conveys various messages about the people, culture, famous figures, and scenic landscapes of his homeland, Vietnam, to international friends. Besides his artistic activities, he also dedicates time to painting for charitable purposes and community service.
