(Dan Tri) - Painter Nguyen Khac Chinh has just released 3 works in the art project "Vietnamese Beauties". This is the first time he has used blue tones, in addition to the typical red tones that have made his reputation.
The art project Giai Nhan Sac Viet, directed by Dao Hoang Long and artist Nguyen Khac Chinh, promises to bring a new perspective on the beauty of Vietnamese women through a combination of painting, photography, fashion and beauty art. The event attracted many famous faces such as Miss Le Hoang Phuong, MC Thanh Thanh Huyen, and designers Le Thanh Hoa, Hoang Minh Ha, and Le Ngoc Lam. Art researcher Ngo Kim Khoi also shared his insights on the topic of Vietnamese women in painting. Artist Nguyen Khac Chinh said: "The beauty of Vietnamese women with traditional Asian features is an endless source of inspiration. In this project, the image of women is more realistic, each character has its own charisma and story through symbols and decorative items." Painter Nguyen Khac Chinh, born in 1984, graduated from the Vietnam University of Fine Arts and is a member of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association. He made his mark with his first exhibition in Singapore. He shared: "Painting not only recreates the world but also combines emotions and reason, creating the artist's own style and personality." Mr. The Thinh (Tan Phu district) was impressed with the works at the exhibition. "I have known about Mr. Chinh's paintings for nearly 10 years. Today's exhibition affirms the name Nguyen Khac Chinh in the hearts of the public," Mr. Thinh shared. Painter Nguyen Khac Chinh uses the multi-layer oil painting method, a pinnacle technique in painting. He shared the difficult early days when he had to learn this method on his own. Through research, Chinh realized that the beauty of Vietnamese women has changed a lot. In modern society, many people choose cosmetic surgery to achieve standard beauty. However, the beauty of the soul is still present inside every Vietnamese woman. The painting of a woman removing her mask has a special meaning, encouraging women to be confident in themselves, without having to live with the shell that others want. Mr. Tan Thanh (Thu Duc City) with nearly 20 years of experience in collecting fine arts, admires the talent of painter Nguyen Khac Chinh. This December, he decided to fly to Hanoi to enjoy the artist's work "Celosia". Influenced by the culture of communal houses and pagodas in the North, the palette of red, yellow, white, brown and black has become a hallmark in the works of painter Nguyen Khac Chinh. He wishes to bring traditional colors with strong oriental characteristics into modern art. Inspired by teal, artist Nguyen Khac Chinh used teal for the first time as the main color scheme in Vietnamese Beauties, marking a breakthrough from the color palette that had made him famous. Painter Nguyen Khac Chinh shared: "I was attracted by the profound beauty of teal, a color that has appeared in Vietnamese cultural heritage. I wanted to bring that color into my painting to recreate the traditional beauty through the lens of contemporary art." After a year of hard work, the work with teal color harmony was completed. However, he confided that no photography technology could fully convey the nuances and depth of the painting. The new work by artist Nguyen Khac Chinh not only honors the beauty of Vietnamese women but also opens up a new perspective on traditional values through modern art. The project "Vietnamese Beauties" takes place from November 30 to December 10 at Austin Home Interiors, Thu Duc City (HCMC).
