Units, organizations, and functional forces in the city have been implementing numerous programs to disseminate knowledge about cybersecurity to residential areas, schools, and agencies.
Diverse forms
According to Mr. Ong Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of the Cam Le Ward Youth Union, to support digital skills development for the community, the unit established the "Youth Pioneer Team for Digital Law," bringing together outstanding union members who are tech-savvy and proactively create digital media products such as infographics and short videos promoting the Law on Cybersecurity and personal data protection.
Simultaneously, the application of artificial intelligence and virtual assistants in content design helps make legal information more engaging and accessible to young people. The ward's Youth Union also launched a toolkit called "AI Virtual Assistant for Propaganda," which can automatically, quickly, and accurately answer questions related to administrative procedures and legal regulations for union members and citizens on digital platforms.

Notably, the program "Identifying Tricks and Preventing High-Tech Crimes" attracted over 200 youth union members, equipping them with practical knowledge to enhance their ability to protect themselves against sophisticated online scams.
The Cam Le Ward Youth Union is also promoting the establishment of a "Rapid Response" club with the participation of young people with expertise in information technology to promptly detect, report, and prevent false and distorted information. The unit is strengthening coordination with the ward police to organize seminars and share real-life cases of cybercrime, contributing to raising deterrence and vigilance in the community.
At the University of Education (Da Nang University), equipping students with knowledge and skills for online safety is a central focus of its educational and orientation programs. The student union has implemented numerous activities, including seminars and workshops on online etiquette; skills in identifying fake news and verifying information; and the proper use of digital technology in learning and research.
The university's Youth Union has strengthened coordination with specialized units, including the Da Nang City Police, to organize training and awareness programs on cybersecurity, helping students clearly identify methods of spreading misinformation and understand relevant legal regulations. Content on information security and online etiquette is also integrated into branch activities and thematic programs, contributing to the formation of responsible information reception and sharing habits among students.
According to Dong The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of the University of Education, the awareness campaigns and training activities have significantly improved students' understanding of risks in the digital space. Through these activities, students have been equipped with practical skills such as identifying fake news, verifying information, protecting personal data, and behaving respectfully online. In particular, they have become more aware of their role in spreading accurate information and contributing to building a healthy online environment.

Spreading throughout the community
As a core force of the Da Nang Police in propaganda work, the Youth Committee of the city's police force has proactively advised and implemented many solutions to raise awareness and skills in preventing cybercrime among the people. In particular, they have primarily compiled and published 1,271 news articles and reports on ensuring online security and safety, and warning about online fraud methods and tactics, enabling people to proactively prevent and combat various types of cybercrime. These contents have been published on many channels, contributing to the dissemination of official information and guiding public opinion.
In parallel with online propaganda activities, the youth union members of the city's police force sent 62 speakers to participate in disseminating information on cybersecurity and preventing high-tech crimes at agencies, businesses, and schools throughout the city, with approximately 13,500 attendees.
Through awareness campaigns, youth union members directly guided people in identifying common online scams, thereby raising their awareness and self-protection skills against criminal risks.
Major Bui Anh Duc, Head of the Youth Committee of the Da Nang Public Security Department, said that during their interactions with people in residential areas, agencies, businesses, and schools, the city's police youth union members have implemented many diverse and flexible forms of propaganda to help people easily understand, remember, and apply the information.
During these awareness campaigns, youth union members directly explain the signs of fraud, guide people on how to verify information, secure personal accounts, and how to handle situations when they suspect they have been scammed.
The youth union members also used various lively forms of propaganda such as distributing leaflets, showing illustrative videos, sharing infographics warning about criminal tactics; guiding people to use security applications and tools and official information channels of the police force to receive timely warnings.
To keep pace with digital transformation trends and enhance communication effectiveness, the Youth Union of the City Police Department has directed police youth branches in communes and wards to apply artificial intelligence in their propaganda work. Some youth branches have initially developed AI police characters to assist in providing information and answering people's questions. Simultaneously, they are using AI tools to create videos, images, and propaganda materials, contributing to making the content more visual, engaging, and accessible to the community more quickly.
