Attending the Congress were comrades: Ngo Van Du, former member of the Politburo, former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission ; Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Khac Hieu, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee.
Lien Chau commune was established on the basis of merging the communes: Lien Chau (old), Dai Tu and Hong Chau. Although it is a purely agricultural land, the commune has modern infrastructure and the landscape is considered the most beautiful in Vinh Phuc province (old).
After the merger, the commune has an area of 26km2 and a population of over 34,800 people. All three communes before the merger, Lien Chau, Dai Tu, and Hong Chau, have met the standards of advanced new rural communes, of which Lien Chau commune (old) has met the standards of the first model new rural commune in Vinh Phuc province (old); 29/38 villages have met the standards of model new rural villages and 11/38 villages have met the standards of smart villages; there is a model cultural village.
Lien Chau commune also has spacious and modern cultural-sports complexes, highly effective agricultural economic models, and a rich spiritual life for the people, attracting many delegations from within and outside the province to visit and study.
The Lien Chau Commune Party Congress agreed on 16 targets, 5 key tasks and 3 breakthroughs, including: striving for the rate of grassroots party organizations completing their tasks well to reach over 95%; the average annual budget revenue growth rate to reach over 10%; having 80-100 enterprises operating effectively; the rate of administrative procedures processed online throughout the process to reach 95%...
Speaking at the Congress, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phi Long praised and highly appreciated the achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of Lien Chau commune in the past term.
He requested the Party Executive Committee of the commune to strengthen the work of building a clean and strong Party and political system, in conjunction with promoting administrative reform within the Party. Improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations, pay attention to improving the quality, efficiency and products of work, and take dedication as a measure to evaluate, arrange and use cadres.
The Party Executive Committee of the commune needs to clearly identify key projects, plans, and tasks to successfully implement the goals of the Congress Resolution with the spirit of "clear people, clear work, clear responsibilities, clear products, specific results, clear deadlines, and clear roadmaps", especially breakthroughs such as: administrative reform, personnel work, infrastructure, etc.
The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee on personnel work. Comrade Phan The Huy, member of the Provincial Party Committee, was appointed to hold the position of Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Lien Chau commune for the 2025-2030 term.
