Building and repairing more than 1,900 Great Solidarity houses for poor households

Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province presented Dai Doan Ket houses to fishermen.

Accordingly, from the above fund, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has built and repaired 1,976 Great Solidarity houses for poor and near-poor households with a value of over 105 billion VND; supported livelihoods and social security programs worth over 52 billion VND to help poor and near-poor households develop production and have conditions to escape poverty sustainably; contributed to and supported the construction of hundreds of welfare works, contributing to reducing the poverty rate in the whole province (according to the new standard) to 6.13%.

In particular, the "Connecting hearts" column coordinated by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and the Provincial Radio and Television Station supported over 287 people in especially difficult circumstances, with a total amount of nearly 12 billion VND.
