In order to connect and promote business cooperation between the two sides, Dr. Ngo Pham Tran, an overseas Vietnamese businessman in Taiwan and Chairman of the Vietnam-Taiwan Business Association, coordinated with a number of professional associations here to organize two seminars to promote investment in Vietnam in Taoyuan City and Taichung City, attracting more than 100 Taiwanese businesses to attend.
At the workshop, Mr. Vu Tien Dung, Director of the Vietnam Economic Office in Taipei, highly appreciated the activities promoting cooperation between Taiwanese (Chinese) and Vietnamese enterprises over the past years and the efforts in organizing the workshop program of Dr. Ngo Pham Tran.

He considered this one of the connecting bridges that had brought about practical results and hoped that these activities would continue to be promoted, further promoting successful cooperation between Vietnamese and Taiwanese enterprises.
Delegates attending the workshop also listened to Mr. Nguyen Trac Ba, Secretary General of the Taiwan Affairs Committee (China) of Vietnam, share an overview of the investment environment and investment opportunities in Vietnam, Vietnam's new policies in the field of foreign investment; incentives and support of the Vietnamese Government for FDI enterprises when choosing to invest in Vietnam.
Here, Dr. Ngo Pham Chan said that according to the latest statistics, there are currently 6 large Taiwanese electronics corporations investing in Vietnam.
The next forecast is that the wave of shifting of electronics supply chains and stages in the investment chain of the semiconductor industry will take place around the world .
According to Ms. Ngo Pham Chan, Vietnam has many advantages in terms of a stable political environment, favorable geographical location, potential high-quality human resources, many special features in investment incentive policies, etc., which can completely create a golden opportunity to become a very bright destination to attract investment in this field.
She shared: "From now on and for at least the next 3-5 years, large Taiwanese electronics and semiconductor corporations and companies that have invested in Vietnam are looking to attract supply chain companies to join them. If Vietnamese businesses can raise their capacity and reputation, this will be a golden opportunity that can and must be seized."

Dr. Ngo Pham Tran is the co-founder of the Vietnam-Taiwan Business Association and has been elected as the Association's President for two consecutive terms, the third and fourth (current term). Over the past 8 years since the Association was established, with her persistent and effective activities and contributions, she is trusted by many Taiwanese businessmen and enterprises. She has directly connected and successfully promoted many large projects of leading Taiwanese corporations investing in Vietnam; connecting, trading, and developing trade between many businesses of the two sides. |
