Currently, it is the sunny, hot, and humid season, which is very favorable for the growth of wild mushrooms. Although all levels and sectors have been propagandized and popularized, mushroom poisoning cases still occur due to the eating habits of people in the highlands.

To prevent similar poisoning cases, the Department of Health recommends: People should not arbitrarily pick mushrooms that grow in the wild and do not know whether they are poisonous or not for cooking; when eating mushrooms, if you see signs of poisoning, you need to give first aid, induce vomiting on the spot and go to the nearest medical facility for timely emergency care; all levels and sectors also need to continue to strengthen communication work on food safety, especially natural toxin poisoning.
