Tanker truck catches fire at gas station, three people burned.

In Tuyen Quang , on the afternoon of December 28th, a tanker truck caught fire while unloading fuel at the Binh Xa gas station in Ham Yen district, causing burns to the driver and two gas station attendants.

A witness said the fire originated from the pump nozzle and quickly engulfed the entire tanker truck, spreading to a nearby gas pump. The blaze created a column of fire dozens of meters high, accompanied by black smoke, explosions, and an unpleasant odor.

Two fire trucks and 20 firefighters from Tuyen Quang city (40 km away) were mobilized to extinguish the fire. After 30 minutes of arrival, the authorities put out the blaze.

At the scene, the tanker truck was completely burned. The underground fuel storage area was unaffected. The glass of a nearby shop shattered due to the heat.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
