Bus bursts into flames in the heart of Hanoi.

(NLĐO) - The bus was traveling in the hot sun when smoke suddenly started coming from the rear, then a fierce fire broke out and completely destroyed the vehicle.

On May 16th, the police in Cua Nam ward ( Hanoi ) are investigating the cause of a bus fire that occurred in the area.

According to initial information, at approximately 9:50 AM on the same day, the bus was traveling in the direction of Quang Trung - Ba Trieu. When it reached the area in front of number 45 Ly Thuong Kiet Street (Cua Nam Ward), smoke suddenly started coming from the rear of the vehicle.

Upon noticing the incident, the driver immediately stopped the bus and shouted for passengers to quickly evacuate. Just minutes later, the fire erupted fiercely, engulfing the entire vehicle.

Upon receiving the report, authorities quickly arrived at the scene to organize firefighting efforts, while simultaneously directing traffic and restricting vehicle flow through Ly Thuong Kiet Street, from Quang Trung to Ba Trieu.

At the time of the incident, Hanoi was experiencing intense heat, with outdoor temperatures around 34-35 degrees Celsius.

The fire caused no casualties, but the bus was completely destroyed.
