Car crushed after accident on Hanoi - Hai Phong highway, 4 people injured

A traffic accident between two cars on the Hanoi - Hai Phong highway this morning, August 23, injured four people and crushed the car.

The accident affected traffic on the Hanoi - Hai Phong highway.

At around 7:30 a.m. on August 23, on the Hanoi - Hai Phong highway, a truck and a car traveling in the same direction from Hanoi to Hai Phong collided at km 77+960 in An Khanh commune.

According to initial information, the accident injured 4 people and had to be taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.

At the scene, the red car 30K-358.xx was severely damaged, the rear and body of the car were crushed. The front of the truck 29H-074.xx was damaged. Debris was scattered all over the highway. Immediately after the collision, authorities arrived at the scene to protect and direct traffic; and took the injured to the emergency room.

The accident is currently under investigation. It is known that when the accident occurred, the road surface was normal, guardrails were in place, and the weather was also normal.
