(NLĐO) - A tractor-trailer carrying a container was traveling through the My Thuy underpass (Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City) when it suddenly caught fire in the front section.

On March 13th, authorities in Thu Duc City (Ho Chi Minh City) were investigating the cause of a container truck fire that broke out in the My Thuy roundabout underpass.

According to initial information, at approximately 8 PM on the same day, a male driver was operating a tractor-trailer carrying a container full of goods on Vo Chi Cong Street. Upon reaching the intersection with Nguyen Thi Dinh Street, he proceeded through the My Thuy roundabout underpass (Thu Duc City), heading towards Cat Lai Port.
At that moment, the front of the container truck suddenly caught fire and burned fiercely. The driver opened the door, got out, shouted for help, and together with local residents, put out the fire.
Firefighters then dispatched vehicles and personnel to the scene to extinguish the fire, successfully protecting the property inside the containers.
The fire caused traffic congestion in the area, and traffic police arrived at the scene to regulate and clear the traffic.

Earlier, on the morning of March 12th, a five-seater car was traveling on Do Muoi Street (formerly National Highway 1), heading from Linh Xuan overpass towards Suoi Tien Tourist Area. When it reached the section near the gate of Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry (Linh Trung ward, Thu Duc City), a fire suddenly broke out.
The five-seater car was subsequently burned to ashes despite firefighters arriving quickly at the scene.
