Accordingly, at approximately 1 PM on December 15th, the South Saigon Traffic Police Team (PC08, Ho Chi Minh City Police), led by Major Trinh Hong Giang, along with two team members, Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Quoc Cuong and Captain Nguyen Xuan Phuc, were patrolling Vo Van Kiet Street (formerly My Xuan - Ngai Giao Street). When the patrol team reached the border between Trang Cat and Suoi Nhung neighborhoods in Tan Thanh ward, they spotted two students pushing their motorbike along the roadside under the scorching sun.
Through discussions, the task force learned that the two students were Nguyen Tien Thanh (class 11A7) and Nguyen Ngoc Bao (class 11A8), both students of Hack Dich High School. On their way to school, their motorbike unexpectedly broke down, making it impossible to continue, while they still had about 10km to go to school.

In response to the situation, the task force quickly assisted in getting both students and their vehicle onto the patrol car, transporting them to school in time for class and ensuring their safety.
The dedicated and responsible actions of the officers and soldiers of the South Saigon Traffic Police Team have left a beautiful image of the People's Police officer "forgetting himself for the country, serving the people"; demonstrating a spirit of responsibility, sharing, and profound humanity in the process of performing their duties.
After returning home, the two students, Nguyen Tien Thanh and Nguyen Ngoc Bao, wrote thank-you letters to the entire South Saigon Traffic Police Team. They expressed their gratitude for the timely and dedicated assistance of the officers and soldiers.
This small story carries great significance, contributing to spreading the image of police officers who are close to the people, understand the people, and are always ready to help and serve the people in all circumstances.
