On the night of December 15th, the forces coordinated the review of camera footage, obtaining images of the elderly man moving along Nguyen Tuan Street towards Thanh Xuan Park and also traveling on several other streets.

Based on those images, the local police and the family compiled identifying characteristics and posted information on social media to seek community support.
Around 3:00 AM on December 16th, a local resident, while commuting, discovered an elderly man suffering from hypoglycemia and showing signs of fainting in the Dich Vong area. They quickly and safely returned him to his family.
On December 16th, Ms. PTP, daughter-in-law of Mr. T, representing the family, wrote a letter expressing her deep gratitude to the Traffic Police Department, Thanh Xuan Ward Police, and especially to the people who showed concern and provided support, helping the family quickly find their loved one.
