TPO - A dump truck carrying sand overturned while in motion when the bridge collapsed. The incident resulted in injuries to the driver.
On the afternoon of March 20th, a dump truck carrying sand was traveling on the road when, while on the Ba Ven bridge (Ba Ven hamlet, Loc Khanh commune, Loc Ninh district, Binh Phuoc province), the bridge suddenly collapsed.
When the dump truck overturned into the stream, the male driver quickly broke open the door and escaped, sustaining only minor injuries.
According to the leaders of Loc Ninh District People's Committee, the incident occurred in the early afternoon. Authorities have erected barricades to ensure safety and contacted excavators to level the road temporarily to ensure traffic flow.

Ba Ven Bridge is an iron bridge spanning a stream in Ba Ven hamlet (Loc Khanh commune, Loc Ninh district), serving the transportation needs of local residents. Currently, the Loc Khanh commune police are securing the scene to investigate the cause of the incident.
According to the leaders of Loc Ninh District People's Committee, the Ba Ven bridge was built a long time ago and is now dilapidated. The local government has posted warning signs about the bridge's weakness to alert passing vehicles. The District People's Committee is currently holding a tender to select a contractor to invest in and rebuild the Ba Ven bridge, ensuring safe and convenient traffic for the people.
Authorities are investigating and handling the accident.
