This morning, May 23rd, the closing ceremony and awards presentation for the "Creative Drawing Contest with BITEX" for the 2022-2023 school year took place in Ho Chi Minh City. The drawing contest was implemented across preschools in districts and Thu Duc City (Ho Chi Minh City) from December 26th, 2022 to March 13th, 2023.
Speaking at the closing ceremony and awards presentation this morning, Ms. Le Thuy My Chau, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, said that the competition provided professional clusters with opportunities for sharing and connection to develop expertise throughout the city. Each child is a talented amateur artist, sketching and truthfully reflecting the innocent lives and dreams of children.
Ms. Chau affirmed: "For preschool children, developing their aesthetic sense is very important. Through the competition, children will experience many emotions, learn to appreciate beauty in nature and in the everyday life around them. From there, they will gain confidence and express their talents."

Ms. Le Thuy My Chau acknowledged the efforts of the Education and Training Departments in coordinating with the city's preschool education quality control committee and participating units in organizing the competition. She also expressed hope that in the coming years, this platform will continue to be developed and expanded, creating opportunities for children's holistic development.
The Creative Drawing Contest for Children in the 2022-2023 school year attracted 2,984 preschool children aged 3-5 from 800 preschools. The organizing committee selected 240 contestants to participate in the city-level competition.

At the city-level competition, the children competed in 4 specialized clusters, each with 60 children. Preschool children participated in 3 categories (A, B, and C) with 2 types of freehand drawing and creative drawing using fingers and hands.
This morning, more than 50 preschool children, representing 240 contestants, and over 200 teachers and staff from the Department of Education and Training and affiliated schools were present at the City Preschool auditorium to receive certificates of merit and awards from the organizing committee.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dac Luc, Deputy General Director of BITEX company, said that the competition aims to educate children's aesthetic sense, forming and developing their ability to appreciate beauty in nature and life. This is a beneficial playground that motivates children to develop their artistic talents in the best and most complete way. The competition also encourages children to participate in outdoor activities and art lessons, thereby stimulating artistic emotions in preschool children.
The "Children's Creative Drawing Contest with BITEX" has been organized since From the 2020-2021 school year to the present, after three years, Ho Chi Minh City has had 8,235 preschool children from over 800 preschools and 1,026 awards presented to winning contestants.
