After receiving instructions from the Vietnam Journalists Association , the Tay Ninh Provincial Journalists Association proposed a plan and carried out procedures to establish a Review and Acceptance Council and a Facility Selection Board.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Journalists Association issued a document providing specific guidance on the conditions and criteria for selecting works on television, radio, print and electronic newspapers; implementation steps and submission deadlines. High-quality press works in 2023 will be selected through 2 steps at the Base Selection Board and the Acceptance Review Council, divided into 3 categories A, B, C.
Mr. Vu Xuan Truong - Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial Journalists Association commended members with high achievements in 2022.
Based on the 2023 budget support, of which 60% is for high-quality journalistic works, an additional 20% is allocated for works written on the topic "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style". The Provincial Journalists Association assigns targets to the branches and the Selection Board of the base to conduct the selection and send it to the Review and Acceptance Council.
In which, the Provincial Radio and Television Association: 10 radio works, 10 television works, 6 written works on the topic of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; Tay Ninh Newspaper Association: 10 printed newspaper works, 10 electronic newspaper works, 6 written works on the topic of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
After the Secretariat gathered 40 high-quality journalistic works and 12 written works on the topic of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, the Secretariat of the Approval Council rejected 2 television works that did not comply with regulations.
Within 1 week, the Review and Acceptance Council selected 20 works by 24 authors (groups of authors) including: 4 television works, 4 radio works, 4 print works, 4 electronic press works, 4 written works on the topic of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style for financial support.
According to the Council for Review and Acceptance of Support for Creation of High-Quality Journalistic Works in Tay Ninh Province in 2023, the works are of higher quality than in 2022. However, there are still a few works of low quality, short duration, large issues, but the content of the article cannot be expressed.
High-quality press works in 2023 will be rewarded and awarded certificates on the occasion of the Giap Thin Spring Newspaper Exhibition - 2024.
