Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Van Chinh, Director of the Armored Vehicle Repair Enterprise, said: The predecessor was the Track Workshop of the Z751 Joint Enterprise. During the period of 1979-1989, the Armored Vehicle Repair Enterprise mobilized all resources, repaired thousands of tanks and armored vehicles, and produced tens of thousands of parts and assemblies of parts, contributing to ensuring good weapons for southern units and units performing international missions in Cambodia.

In particular, the Enterprise organized mobile repair teams on the battlefields. Officers, soldiers and employees fought and promptly restored and improved more than 200 tanks and armored vehicles, ensuring good weapons and technical equipment for combat units on the battlefield. With many outstanding achievements, on August 29, 1985, the Enterprise was honored to be awarded the title "Hero of the People's Armed Forces" by the Party and State.

Promoting the heroic tradition, over the years, facing many difficulties and challenges, the Enterprise has always been united, dynamic, creative, exceeding the annual production and repair plan targets, building a clean and strong Party organization, and a strong unit in all aspects.

The Enterprise proactively invests in specialized technology, improves the quality of human resources, masters science and technology, innovates, and produces scarce specialized technical materials. Thereby, from 2016 to present, the Enterprise has repaired nearly 500 tanks and armored vehicles that meet technical coefficients and have improved and integrated many modern weapons, contributing to improving training and combat readiness of the entire Southern military units.

In the coming time, the Enterprise needs to focus on thoroughly grasping and concretizing the Party's resolutions; promoting the application of science and technology, digital transformation, improving the quality of human resources; effectively participating in the implementation of weapons improvement and modernization projects; building a lean, compact, and efficient unit; taking care of building a clean and strong Party organization, a comprehensively strong unit that is "exemplary and typical"; ensuring a good life for cadres, employees and workers...
