On August 29, the MV “Glory, Oh Vietnam” - a new composition by Professor, Doctor, Hero of Labor Nguyen Anh Tri; directed by Duong Lan Huong, was officially released, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

“Glory, Oh Vietnam” is a song with a heroic, vibrant melody, concise, simple, easy-to-understand lyrics, short, easy-to-remember lyrics, very attractive, encouraging, motivating and spreading excitement to the listener. The song depicts the image of a united, resilient Vietnam, creating today's pride. The core message of the song is the national spirit, the aspiration to rise up and the glory of the Fatherland in every Vietnamese person.

Sharing about the process of composing this song, Professor Nguyen Anh Tri said that he had been thinking about this song for more than 3 years. “When the melody rang in my head, it took me less than 30 minutes to finish writing the song. Perhaps the long-suppressed emotions came at the right time,” the musician said.
However, to complete it, he struggled with many details, "just one word in the chorus made me think for a long time to fully convey the spirit of national pride". The author said that when the singers received the music, they sang with all their passion, as a strong urge and encouragement that gave him the idea to make this MV.

“The MV mobilized thousands of participants, and it was amazing that all the participants were full of enthusiasm to contribute to a meaningful music product,” the author shared.
The song was arranged by musician Tran Thi Phuong Thao - Dang Manh Cuong. The MV was written and directed by Duong Lan Huong, DOP Meritorious Artist Phung Le Anh Minh - Meritorious Artist Nguyen Tai Van.

Participating in the performance of the MV “Glory, Oh Vietnam” are more than 30 singers, including Sao Mai Huyen Trang, Viet Danh, Meritorious Artist To Nga, Meritorious Artist Luong Huy, Meritorious Artist Cam Tu, Meritorious Artist Dinh Thanh Le, Sao Mai Huyen Trang, Viet Danh, Le Xuan Hao, Minh Tuan, Dieu Thuy, An Nhi, Nguyen Minh Ngoc, Manh Tuan, Trung Nhat… along with many other artists, the Medlatec choir and the Vietnamese Pearl Children's Club.
The MV was filmed at many locations from North to South such as: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Vietnam Military History Museum, National Convention Center, Naval Region 3 Training Center, Nha Rong Wharf, Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, Hien Luong Bridge, Road 9 Martyrs Cemetery (Quang Tri), Lung Cu Flagpole (Tuyen Quang)...

Among them are grand scenes with the participation of thousands of people, elaborately staged, arranged into typical symbols of the country. The grand frames both depict the beauty of solidarity and spread national pride.
In particular, the MV also includes images of a military parade, creating a heroic atmosphere, recreating the indomitable spirit and indomitable strength of the Vietnamese people.

At the MV launch ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Do Hong Quan, Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, shared that the song “Glory, Oh Vietnam” has a heroic and exciting melody, short and concise lyrics, easy to understand and remember, encouraging and spreading excitement to listeners.
The song depicts the image of a united and resilient Vietnam, which is the pride of today. The core message of the song is the national spirit and the aspiration to rise up in every Vietnamese person.
Director Duong Lan Huong, who worked on the MV “Glory, Oh Vietnam”, said that the crew wanted to clearly express the message of the song, that all success and glory originate from love for the Fatherland. The highlight of the script is based on the element of combining images of ethnic groups and social classes, such as workers, farmers, soldiers, intellectuals, etc.
Professor, Doctor, Hero of Labor Nguyen Anh Tri is a prestigious scientist. He was the former Director of the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion. Besides, he is also the author of more than 220 songs, most of which praise the Fatherland, arousing love for the homeland.
