Poor boarding house fights with gangsters to protect Thach and Luu
Review of Life is Still Beautiful episode 30 aired on the evening of June 7 revealed the scene where Luu (Meritorious Artist Hoang Hai) discovered that Thach (Viet Hoang) was being chased by gangsters for debt, had to accept money from his lover (Ha Dan) to pay the debt, so he was extremely angry and heartbroken.
Liu is heartbroken because his son is in debt to the mafia.
Seeing Luu sad, Luyen (Thanh Huong) and Dien (To Dung) encouraged and comforted him, advising him to report to the police. "If we report to the police now, we might only have to pay back the exact amount we borrowed, and not the interest. That way we can save a lot of money," Dien said.
However, Luu fears that things are not that simple. If he reports to the police, the procedures will take a long time and affect Thach's studies. "If the school expels him, what will happen to his future?", Luu said.
Dien reminded Luu that he used to scold him for paying his son's debt. Even though he knew it was "stupid", Dien hoped that every time he paid his debt would be the last time. However, Luu still had great faith in Thach: "This K is different. He doesn't gamble or play around, he's just in love for the first time, so he's stupid because of love. And everyone who falls in love is stupid."
Also in Life is Still Beautiful episode 30, the loan shark gang brings Thach to Luu's poor boarding house to force him to pay money on behalf of his son.
"I have a dry corpse here. You tricked a kid, lent him money at high interest rates and then forced me to pay? What will you do to me if I don't pay?", said Luu.
Seeing the loan sharks planning to beat Thach, all the people in the boarding house brought bricks, stones, and sticks as weapons to protect Thach from the gang.
Thach was taken to the boarding house by a gang of gangsters to collect debt.
Hoa forced her daughter to break up with Thach.
In another development, Nga (Ha Dan) and Hoa's mother (Anh Tho) had a big argument. Accordingly, Hoa forbade her daughter from seeing Thach, and at the same time showed contempt for the poor.
"Is there any stupid guy who needs money and asks me for it? He has to act miserable, then I will love him and give him money. Being poor is not bad, but being poor makes you greedy," Hoa scolded her daughter.
Nga replied: "You criticize Thach because of his background, right? Not everyone who is poor is ugly. I didn't expect you to have such a narrow-minded way of thinking."
Hoa forced her daughter to break up with her poor boyfriend.
Hoa angrily continued: "You'd better go home and leave that street urchin. I don't think that just because of a worthless guy, we have distance." Knowing her mother was angry, Nga still affirmed that she would continue to love Thach even if her mother disowned her.
How will Thach's debt be resolved? Will Nga and Thach's love story really have to end? The answer will be in episode 30 of the series "Life is Still Beautiful" airing at 9:40 p.m. on June 7.
