Ea Phe Commune: Launching the movement "Digital Education for the People"

On the morning of July 31, the People's Committee of Ea Phe commune organized the launching ceremony of the "Digital Literacy for All" movement. The launching ceremony was attended by nearly 200 officials and civil servants; village heads and members of community digital technology groups; agencies, businesses, business households... in the area.

According to the report of the Ea Phe Commune Public Administration Service Center, after one month of operation, the unit has received 1,127 administrative procedure files. Of which, only 78 files were received directly because the system was not connected in the first days of operating the two-level local government. After the online public service system was operating stably, the center received 100% of online files, processed them, and returned results on time and before the scheduled time for the people.

However, the process of receiving online documents still has some difficulties because people are not familiar with performing administrative procedures in an electronic environment, so it cannot be completely digitized. The support force has not been trained, so they are still confused in supporting people. The system of machines and equipment at the center mostly has an old operating system, which does not ensure the performance of the center's specialists' tasks.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of Ea Phe Commune People's Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh emphasized that in the current context, if a locality wants to develop prosperously, it must rely on science and technology , innovation and digital transformation; if it wants to become a developed locality with high income, digital transformation is the inevitable path.

To concretize and effectively implement tasks and solutions on science - technology development, innovation and digital transformation, Ea Phe commune launched the movement "Digital Education for the People" to popularize basic knowledge about digital transformation and digital skills for people. Thereby helping all people to be equipped with necessary digital knowledge and skills to apply in daily life to grasp, utilize, exploit and enjoy the achievements of science - technology, innovation and digital transformation.

Leaders of agencies, units and villages of Ea Phe commune signed a commitment to effectively participate in the "Digital Education for All" movement.

During the 100-day peak period of the "Digital Education for All" movement (from July 15 to October 25), the People's Committee of Ea Phe commune set the following targets: 80% of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in agencies are trained and equipped with knowledge and skills on digital transformation, and are able to use digital platforms and digital services for work; 60% of people of adult age have access to information on digital transformation; 40% of people of adult age are confirmed to have achieved universal knowledge of digital transformation and digital skills on the VNeID platform; 60% of workers in enterprises, cooperatives and cooperative unions have basic knowledge of digital technology , digital skills, and are able to use smart devices to serve production and business, and improve labor productivity...

At the launching ceremony, leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ea Phe commune pressed the button to start the "Digital Education for All" movement.

The commune also launched a technology and professional rescue team to support the settlement of administrative procedures in Ea Phe commune, the "Digital Market - Digital Rural Area" model; launched a 15-day campaign to install online public services for local people.

At the same time, the Mobile Team to handle administrative procedures was launched to bring administrative services directly to the people, especially those living far from the center, the elderly, and people with difficulty traveling.

The technology and professional response team to support administrative procedure settlement in Ea Phe commune was launched at the launching ceremony.

Representatives of enterprises: Viettel, VNPT also organized an introduction of the software "Dak Lak Digital", digital signature, AI virtual assistant for officials, civil servants, and people; training on operations on the public service system for members of the Technology Response Team and professional support for administrative procedure settlement, and the Community Digital Technology Team in villages and hamlets.
