Giving 7,000 Ngoc Linh ginseng seedlings to poor households

DNO - On the morning of July 31, the People's Committee of Tra Linh commune organized the awarding of 7,000 1-year-old Ngoc Linh ginseng seedlings to 33 poor and disadvantaged households in Tra Linh, Tra Leng, Tra Tap, Tra Van and Nam Tra Mi communes.

This is one of the annual activities of Tra Linh commune on the occasion of the 7th Ngoc Linh Ginseng Festival in 2025. The source of seedlings is supported by 14 enterprises and 12 households growing Ngoc Linh ginseng. Mobilizing and supporting poor and disadvantaged households to plant and expand the area of ​​Ngoc Linh ginseng is one of the effective poverty reduction solutions of Tra Linh commune in recent years.

Tra Linh is a new commune of Da Nang city, which has the largest growing area in the country and is known as the capital of Ngoc Linh ginseng. The indigenous Xe Dang community here has preserved all the knowledge and techniques for growing and preserving the precious medicinal herb Ngoc Linh ginseng.

The 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025-2030, Tra Linh Commune Party Committee affirmed that the strategy of developing Ngoc Linh ginseng cultivation is one of the economic development goals associated with culture for sustainable development.
