With the motto "All union members and workers deserve a happy Tet holiday," trade unions at all levels in the province have closely coordinated with businesses to implement many practical welfare activities. From ensuring salaries and bonuses to delivering gifts directly to workers, from charitable transportation services to year-end meals at factories, all contribute to creating a warm spring season for tens of thousands of workers in industrial zones.

The Trade Union of Innovation Future Vietnam Co., Ltd. organized a lucky draw program for its members and employees to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Horse.
Spreading love - ensuring a warm and joyful Tet holiday.
At Yakjin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Thuy Van Industrial Park), the spirit of Spring is evident early. The program "Spring Gratitude to the Party - Spreading Love" is organized as a familiar year-end gathering, where gifts are given not only in material form, but also through concrete and heartfelt care.
Hundreds of gift packages were prioritized for workers in difficult circumstances. Each gift package carried a message: the company recognized and appreciated the silent efforts behind the production line, so that workers could celebrate Tet with more peace of mind and enter the new year with a stronger foundation.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Du, Chairman of the Trade Union of Yakjin Vietnam Co., Ltd., caring for the lives of workers is always a top priority. The most important thing is that workers feel secure in their jobs and feel appreciated for their contributions. Based on this understanding, the Trade Union Executive Committee has advised on Tet bonuses and gifts early on, ensuring that this year's support level is equal to or higher than last year's.
Currently, Yakjin Vietnam provides stable employment for approximately 3,500 workers, with an average income of nearly 9 million VND per person per month. Alongside its production goals, the company focuses on building a safe working environment and caring for the material and spiritual well-being of its employees. The clarity and timeliness of its policies have strengthened trust, allowing each worker to clearly see their contribution to the company's overall development.
Not only in Yakjin Vietnam, but the entire province currently has over 800 businesses in industrial parks, creating jobs for over 300,000 workers. Local trade unions continue to play their role in representing, supporting, and monitoring the implementation of the 13th-month salary, Tet holiday bonuses, and year-end benefits – key factors in ensuring workers' peace of mind and commitment.
According to Ms. Banh Hai Ninh, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Committee of Industrial Zones, Provincial Federation of Labor, grassroots trade unions have proactively coordinated with businesses to implement many comprehensive welfare programs. For workers in difficult circumstances, resources are mobilized from the finances of trade unions at all levels, programs of the provincial trade union, and the joint efforts of businesses, so that they can have a more fulfilling and warmer Tet holiday.
Ensuring employee rights and retaining workers.
The highlight of this year's Tet (Lunar New Year) celebrations is the "Tet Reunion - Spring Gratitude to the Party" and "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" programs, organized on a large scale in the Thuy Van Industrial Park and many surrounding areas. On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor Unions allocated nearly 29 billion VND to care for union members and workers – a figure that not only signifies support but also demonstrates a clear priority given to the workforce in the province's industrial development.

The program for making banh chung (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes), organized by the Provincial Labor Union at the "Trade Union Tet Fair - Spring 2026," attracted a large number of union members and workers.
At the "Trade Union Tet Market," workers have access to essential goods and OCOP products at preferential prices, and also receive free shopping vouchers. These stalls not only help alleviate the burden of year-end expenses but also create an early Tet atmosphere in the industrial zone – where many workers have to stay working until the very last day of the holiday.
To ensure no one is left behind during Tet (Lunar New Year), the province distributed 21,900 gift packages, each worth 1 million VND, to union members and workers in particularly difficult circumstances; and provided 15,000 bus tickets with a total cost of 4.5 billion VND to help workers from distant areas return home safely and conveniently. In addition, 3,000 zero-cost shopping vouchers worth over 1 billion VND and 5,000 discount shopping vouchers totaling 1.5 billion VND were given to disadvantaged workers. Many businesses, such as Matsuoka Phu Tho and Yakjin Vietnam, proactively organized gift-giving events and "Year-End Dinners" right at their factories – a way to retain employees through genuine commitment.
Along with direct support policies, the concern is also reflected in the close monitoring of salary and Tet bonus payments. Most businesses in the province's industrial zones maintain bonus levels ranging from 20% to 100% of basic salary, while also developing production plans from the beginning of the year to ensure stable employment after Tet. For workers, this is a clear commitment that reassures them to return to the factory after the long holiday.
In each enterprise, this care is concretized through practical actions. According to Ms. Ta Thi Minh Thu - President of the Trade Union of Tasa Group JSC, the Trade Union Executive Committee regularly advises and proposes to the Board of Directors many policies that closely match the needs of employees, such as: increasing the meal allowance from 22,000 to 25,000 VND/meal; supporting house construction for disadvantaged union members; building a cultural activity space with two pickleball courts; organizing tours and giving gifts to 46 union members in difficult circumstances; and providing timely support to union members when they are sick or undergoing long-term treatment.
From buses transporting workers back to their hometowns for Tet (Lunar New Year), to gifts exchanged within the factory, and job guarantees after the holiday, a new spring has been prepared well in advance for the workers in the ancestral land. There, Tet is not only complete in moments of family reunion, but also continues with a sense of security as they return to the rhythm of production. And it is from this sense of security that trust is nurtured, encouraging workers to stay, remain committed, and continue to contribute to the province's industrial development in the springs to come.
