Warm and cozy spring

With the motto "All union members and workers deserve a happy Tet holiday," during the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, trade unions at all levels in Tuyen Quang province are implementing many practical and meaningful activities to care for union members and workers. These concrete and timely actions not only provide material and spiritual support but also spread a warm and joyful Tet atmosphere in every agency and enterprise.

The Trade Union of Ha Giang Mechanical and Mineral Joint Stock Company presented gifts to its members and employees on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse).

According to Mr. Le Manh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Labor Union, the Provincial Labor Union has developed and issued a plan to care for workers during the 2026 Lunar New Year with the theme "Family Reunion Tet - Spring of Gratitude to the Party". Activities focus on grassroots levels, prioritizing care for union members and workers with particularly difficult circumstances, those who have suffered work accidents, serious illnesses, or lost their jobs, as well as union members from policy beneficiary families and families affected by natural disasters and fires. The care will be implemented in a diverse and flexible manner, ensuring practicality, safety, and effectiveness, creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere, and helping workers feel secure and committed to their businesses and the Labor Union organization in the long term.

At Chung Jye Tuyen Quang Shoe Manufacturing Co., Ltd., which employs 5,800 union members across three branches in the province, preparations for Tet (Lunar New Year) celebrations began early. Mr. Nguyen The Tung, Chairman of the Company's Trade Union, stated that the Union, in coordination with the Board of Directors, awarded employees a 13th-month salary bonus of 4 million VND or more per month; and distributed 5,800 Tet gift packages, each worth 300,000 VND. In addition, the company organized year-end parties, cultural and artistic activities, and sports events to show appreciation to employees, fostering camaraderie and a festive atmosphere leading up to the new year.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, a worker at Chung Jye Tuyen Quang Shoe Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Ham Yen Branch, shared: “Although the Tet gift is not large in material value, it is a very valuable source of encouragement. I clearly feel the care and support of the Trade Union for the workers. With the 13th month salary bonus, my family can celebrate Tet more fully and warmly.”

Meanwhile, in Mau Due commune, the Trade Union of Ha Giang Mechanical and Mineral Joint Stock Company organized a "Year-End Trade Union Dinner" program for 156 union members. The dinner was not only a gathering but also an opportunity for employees to share, bond, and reflect on their efforts and achievements throughout the year. Through this activity, the role of the Trade Union in caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers was further affirmed, contributing to building a united, stable, and sustainable working environment. On this occasion, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union presented 16 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to union members facing difficult circumstances, work accidents, or serious illnesses, in celebration of the Lunar New Year 2026.

A highlight of this year's Tet holiday is the online Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026. Throughout the province, 3,070 union members received shopping vouchers worth 500,000 VND each, pre-integrated with their registered phone numbers. Ms. Nguyen Thi Van, a worker at MSA YB Co., Ltd., said: “With the specific guidance from the trade union officials, I easily chose essential items at preferential prices. I ordered a set of stainless steel pots to serve my family meals during Tet. The convenient way to buy makes me feel warm and secure celebrating Tet.”

For the Lunar New Year of the Horse in 2026, the Provincial Labor Union planned to organize the "Tet Reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" program at eight commune and ward labor unions, including: Ham Yen, Yen Son, and Son Duong commune labor unions; and Minh Xuan, An Tuong, Binh Thuan, Ha Giang 1, and Ha Giang 2 ward labor unions. The program distributed 1,600 gift packages, each containing 500,000 VND in cash and a Tet gift bag; the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Union distributed 1,400 gift packages to union members and workers; and organized a direct shopping event for 500 workers. Simultaneously, labor unions at all levels organized free transportation or provided train and bus tickets to union members and workers to return home for Tet and back to their workplaces safely and conveniently.

Through these heartfelt care activities, the Trade Union of Tuyen Quang province hopes to bring its members and workers a joyful and warm Spring Festival in 2026; further instilling confidence and motivation so that workers can work and produce with peace of mind and remain committed to their businesses and units in the long term.
