Xuan Son's unfortunate yellow card
In the second leg of the AFF Cup 2024 semi-final between Vietnam and Singapore on December 29, Nguyen Xuan Son received a yellow card in the 83rd minute. Similar to the case of Nguyen Xuan Son, coach Kim Sang-sik, center back Bui Tien Dung, goalkeeper Nguyen Dinh Trieu, defender Ho Tan Tai and center back Nguyen Thanh Chung also had their yellow cards removed in the semi-finals.
