After the SEA Games 32 championship parade in Jakarta, goalkeeper Ernando Ari immediately returned home. The Indonesian U22 player took the SEA Games 32 men's football gold medal - something generations of football players in the archipelago had to wait more than 30 years to achieve - and placed it on the grave of his late father.
"I'm very happy because this is what Indonesians have been waiting for. After 32 years, we finally won the SEA Games gold medal. I want to rest and relax with my family. I don't need any special welcome. Just my family is enough," the U22 Indonesia goalkeeper shared on CNN Indonesia.

Meanwhile, another player of U22 Indonesia, Beckham Putra, also had an emotional story with his family after bringing home the gold medal of SEA Games 32. The parents of this midfielder with a special name took a car 300 km to Jakarta to pick up their son.
However, because the U22 Indonesia team had a celebration program right after returning home, Beckham Putra had to wait another day to see his family. Members of the Indonesian team were surrounded by tens of thousands of fans right after landing at the airport as well as during the parade the next morning, causing traffic jams on the streets of Jakarta.

According to CNN Indonesia, captain Rizky Ridho and some other players asked for tickets to see the band Coldplay. The famous band will be touring in Jakarta, Indonesia in June. The organizers said they would consider the request but they needed to check the number of tickets sold.
