The on-duty staff of Hac Thanh Power Company received information from residents reporting power outages.
At the Hac Thanh Power Company's control room, staff continuously receive reports from residents about power outages. Immediately after receiving information from residents, technical staff quickly identify the area where the incident occurred and dispatch workers, vehicles, and equipment to the scene. In recent days, rising temperatures have led to a sharp increase in the demand for cooling devices, resulting in a surge in electricity consumption. Many power lines and substations are operating at full load, posing a risk of incidents, localized overloads, or tripped circuit breakers.
Mr. Le Anh Vu, Deputy Head of Hac Thanh Power Station, Thanh Hoa Power Company, said: “The incidents in the past few days have mostly involved tripped circuit breakers, with some areas experiencing localized overload. We have mobilized and increased on-call personnel to ensure stable power supply for the people.”

Electrical technicians and workers prepare materials to fix and repair power outages.
In the dark of night, accessing the scene is not easy, especially in densely populated residential areas, narrow alleys, or locations where power lines run through complex terrain.
Under the light of flashlights and specialized lighting systems, power line workers must inspect each power line and substation to determine the cause of any malfunctions. Some nights, the workers toil continuously for hours in the sweltering heat, their clothes drenched in sweat, yet they must maintain high levels of concentration to ensure safety in every technical operation.
For electricians, the biggest pressure is not only restoring power as quickly as possible but also ensuring absolute safety for the public and the workers themselves. Because even a small mistake in handling an incident can lead to a safety risk on the power grid.

Workers are focused on resolving the issue and restoring power to customers.
Mr. Le Dang Hoan, a worker at Hac Thanh Power Company, shared: “During the hot weather, the demand for electricity increases dramatically, so our workers always maintain 100% staffing. With the motto of putting customers first, we strive to handle issues as quickly as possible to ensure a stable power supply for the people.”
Not only do power workers work under high pressure, but they also frequently face unexpected situations at night. Some incidents occur in densely populated areas, requiring careful inspection, containment, and handling to avoid widespread impact. Many days, after resolving one incident, the teams are immediately moved to another area as the hotline receives new calls.

The task forces continued to move to other areas to address power outages for residents.
The dedication of the power company's staff has given many households greater peace of mind during the hot season. Ms. Dong Thi Dung, from Hac Thanh ward, said: "After power outages, I called the power company's hotline and the staff arrived very quickly and enthusiastically to resolve the issue, so we felt very reassured."
During peak periods of hot weather, along with increased operational readiness and incident handling, the power sector also proactively implemented many solutions to ensure safe and stable grid operation, such as load regulation, inspection of points at risk of overload, proactive handling of defects on the power grid, and coordination with large enterprises to adjust load accordingly.

Technical staff inspect the operation of the substation.
Besides the efforts of the electricity sector in maintaining safe and stable grid operation, each citizen also needs to raise awareness of using electricity economically and efficiently, limiting the simultaneous use of many high-power devices during peak hours to reduce pressure on the power system during the hot season. This is also a way to show support for the electricians who are working day and night, dealing with incidents to keep the power supply running smoothly, ensuring uninterrupted daily life and production for the people.
