Requesting Luong The Vinh Primary School to rectify revenue and expenditure work

On the afternoon of October 10, speaking with a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Thai Vinh Nguyen - Head of the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City, said that the unit had issued an official dispatch to rectify the management of revenue and expenditure at Luong The Vinh Primary School, after parents' feedback.

In addition to the rectification document, the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City also requested the principal of Luong The Vinh Primary School to seriously and immediately correct the following issues, specifically:

Arrange suitable swimming lessons for students, do not organize during recess, ask for parents' opinions so that it can be organized after school hours.

Implement the timetable in accordance with regulations (based on Directive No. 5432 dated August 30, 2024 of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City. On October 10, issue an official timetable, make it public and send it to teachers and parents.

At the same time, Luong The Vinh Primary School must refund the fees collected for educational activities of the school program from September 4 to 20. The school will only collect fees from September 22 according to the time the school has deployed, informed and has registration forms from parents of students choosing educational activities of the school program.

Refund of air-conditioning service fees (electricity, air-conditioning maintenance costs, air-conditioning rental costs) for integrated program classes that are equipped with air-conditioning.

According to Mr. Nguyen, in the report sent to the HCM City Department of Education and Training, the Department of Education and Training also clearly stated that of the 15 fees that parents reported, 7 fees were related to food and boarding services for students. The receipts that parents reported were for students who fully participated in the activities reported by the school. In reality, not all students participate in all activities and programs at school.

Yesterday, some parents of Luong The Vinh Primary School (Thu Duc City) complained about the lack of transparency in the schedule for teaching subjects outside of class hours.
