134 officials at a Department asked to resign according to Decree 178

Kinhtedothi- On February 22, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Gia Lai province said that it had received resignation requests from 134 officials, civil servants, public employees and workers requesting resignation according to Decree 178.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Gia Lai province has also made a list of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers who have requested leave according to Decree 178 and sent a report to the Department of Home Affairs.

Accordingly, the total number of civil servants, public employees, and workers at the Gia Lai Provincial Forest Protection Department who voluntarily registered was 134. Specifically: there were 92 civil servants (83 retired early, 9 quit), 35 civil servants (31 retired early, 4 quit), and 7 workers retired early.

Meanwhile, through investigation, those who applied for early retirement include Mr. Duong Hoang Nguyen (born in 1966, Deputy Head of the Provincial Forest Protection Department), Ha Quang Tuyen (born in 1968, Head of the Organization, Propaganda and Force Building Department), Nguyen Trong Khan (born in 1966, Deputy Head of the Forest Protection Department of An Khe town), Le Anh Duc (born in 1967, Deputy Head of the Forest Protection Department of Chu Prong district), and Bui Quang Thinh (born in 1967, Head of the Forest Protection Department of Chu Puh district).

In addition, there are Mr. Pham Van Dao (born in 1970, Head of Inspection and Legal Department), Nguyen Van Dung (born in 1972, Head of Forest Use and Development Department), Nguyen Hoang Tien Toan (born in 1975, Head of Administration and General Department), Nguyen Lam (born in 1969, Deputy Head of Ia Pa District Forest Protection Department), Nguyen Thanh Vinh (born in 1973, Head of Mang Yang District Forest Protection Department), Bui Duc Viet (born in 1972, Head of Phu Thien District Forest Protection Department), Dinh Ich Hiep (born in 1972, Head of Ia Grai District Forest Protection Department).

In the local forestry sector alone, 60 people applied for retirement, including 1 person under 2 years of retirement age, 18 people from 2 years to 5 years, 41 people from 5 years to 10 years. The total amount of money to settle for people applying for retirement according to Decree 178 is over 101 billion VND.

"The officials, civil servants, and workers registering for leave is just the first step. Whether or not they can take leave must have criteria, which must be considered before a decision is made," a leader of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Gia Lai province shared.
