141 Hanoi arrests 3 "speed demons" on the street

(Dan Tri) - When being chased by task force 141, the subjects increased the speed and fled at high speed, weaving in and out of traffic. The subject sitting in the middle also held a weapon and waved it at the police.

On March 22, Hanoi City Police said the Criminal Police Department had detained Le Dinh Can (17 years old, in Hoang Mai district) and Nguyen Huy Dung (17 years old, in Long Bien district) to investigate the act of disturbing public order.

According to authorities, on the evening of March 13, Can invited Vu Ngoc V. (16 years old) and Dung to go to the center of Hanoi to play.

After that, V. took a motorbike to pick up Can and Dung. All three of them used paper and tape to cover the license plate. Before leaving, Can took a knife and gave a billiard cue to V. and Dung so that when they met another group on the street, they could tease and fight.

The subjects went from Nam Du street (Hoang Mai district) along Nguyen Khoi dike route, turned down to Minh Khai.

In the early morning of March 14, the Y13B-141H working group of Hanoi Police was patrolling and controlling on Minh Khai street and discovered the 3 young men above and proceeded to arrest them.

When being chased by the task force, the subjects increased the speed and fled at high speed, weaving in and out of traffic. The subject sitting in the middle also held a weapon and waved it at the police. After running for a while, they did not see the 141 force chasing them anymore, so they returned home to hide their weapons.

However, Hanoi police still successfully investigated and summoned the subjects to fight and handle according to regulations.

Regarding Vu Ngoc V., the authorities determined that the subject was not old enough to be criminally responsible, so the investigation agency did not detain him, but is still consolidating the case file for processing.
