On June 26, more than 29,200 candidates in Hai Phong City took the 2025 high school graduation exam in the morning for Literature and in the afternoon for Math.
During the day, Mr. Le Tien Chau - Secretary of Hai Phong City Party Committee and the working delegation inspected and encouraged the organization of the high school graduation exam at Ngo Quyen High School.
According to the report of the Department of Education and Training, in the Literature exam, 135/29,077 candidates were absent (0.46%), of which 54 candidates were exempted from the exam and 81 candidates dropped out.
During the Math exam, 140/29,096 candidates were absent (0.46%), of which 54 candidates were exempted from the exam, 86 candidates dropped out. One candidate at Hai An High School suffered from hypocalcemia and had to stay in the medical room.

According to the Department of Education and Training of Hai Phong, in this year's exam, the city has 2 special candidates who cannot write their own papers, and are arranged separate rooms at the exam sites of Le Hong Phong High School and Kien An High School.
Exam rooms are equipped with cameras, recording devices and invigilators to help students take notes. Invigilators are arranged to monitor the exam rooms and police forces to ensure security and safety.
In addition, a candidate at Tran Nguyen Han High School was given a hearing aid and support measures according to regulations, which did not affect the candidate's psychology and exam rights.
For the 2025 high school graduation exam, Hai Phong City established 49 testing sites, with 1,240 testing rooms and a total of 29,227 registered candidates. The city mobilized 3,800 officials, civil servants, and public employees to participate in the organization and 400 officials, civil servants, and public employees to grade the exams.
