100 gifts to poor and disadvantaged people in Vinh Long

TPO - 100 gifts worth more than 400 million VND have just been sent by the charity program "Connecting humanity, spreading love" to poor people and disadvantaged households in Tam Binh district, Vinh Long province.

On June 27, Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee coordinated with Hanoi Moi Newspaper and accompanying units to organize the charity program "Connecting humanity, spreading love" in Tam Binh district.

At the program, the Organizing Committee presented 100 gifts worth more than 400 million VND to people in difficult circumstances, children in difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties to study well, poor and near-poor households to help them improve their lives.

Mr. Le Hoang An - Vice Chairman of Tam Binh District People's Committee expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the charitable activities of the donors to the disadvantaged, lonely elderly people, and poor households in the area.

According to Mr. Le Hoang An, each gift sent by the program partly shares the difficulties of households. Thereby, it brings to poor households and families in difficulty the belief, determination, spirit and effort to overcome difficulties, rise out of poverty for a brighter tomorrow.

Ms. To Thi Binh - Deputy Head of the Rural Development Sub-Department (Department of Agriculture and Environment of Vinh Long province) expressed her gratitude, recognition and deep thanks for the noble acts of kindness and generosity of the co-sponsors.
