Connecting the community and promoting an active lifestyle, the tournament was launched by Dragon Hill International Tourist Area as a meaningful activity in the emulation movement and promoting the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".
The event was held at the STARPIK Pickleball 11-covered court complex - the most modern court complex in the North, meeting professional competition standards. This is also a new highlight of the Dragon Ocean Do Son complex - an international tourist area with a rich resort - entertainment - sports ecosystem.
The tournament gathers hundreds of amateur players of all ages, competing in 5 competitions divided by level: mixed doubles 4.4, mixed doubles 4.7, 5.2, 5.7 and OPEN. Of which, on October 11, 2025, the mixed doubles 4.7, 5.7 will be held, and on October 12, 2025, the mixed doubles 4.4, mixed 5.2 and OPEN will be held. In particular, the 2025 Dragon Hill Open Pickleball Tournament is professionally invested from the preparation of facilities, refereeing to logistics and communication. The matches are applied according to the USAP Pickleball Rules 2025, with a professional referee system, a strict, fair and transparent organization process.
Not only gathering a large number of amateur athletes, the tournament also attracted attention when it had guests who were famous domestic and foreign tennis players such as Taylor Jason William, Narayana Santhosh, Nguyen Thi Mai Tram, Huynh Danie, Mathou Max Arthur, Robert Stirling, Hoang Alan Khanh, Nguyen Kim Thu, Nguyen Huu Duc Linh Muoi, Tri Chuot, Dat Tro, Trieu badminton, Dung Chu, Son Hoa Binh, Tam Ken... contributing to raising the level of expertise and attractiveness of the tournament.
With a total prize value of more than 300 million VND, the 2025 Dragon Hill Pickleball Open Tournament is considered one of the most attractive structures of the current pickleball movement. Not only a sporting event, the 2025 Dragon Hill Pickleball Open Tournament is also considered a highlight activity to promote Do Son tourism, opening a new direction for the development of sports combined with relaxation.
