2024 - the 'boom' year of Dragon Hill International Tourist Area

Impressive numbers create attraction

Located in the potential tourist land of Do Son, Hai Phong, Dragon Hill International Tourist Area is increasingly affirming its importance in developing local tourism.

Positioned as the largest resort, tourism, sports and entertainment complex in the North with a convenient location and a system of utilities that can meet the needs of all ages, Dragon Hill International Tourist Area in 2024 has successfully become a destination chosen by many tourists every holiday.

Kicking off the major holidays in 2024, the April 30 - May 1 holiday, Dragon Hill International Tourist Area organized a series of cultural, culinary and street art events, successfully attracting nearly 500,000 visitors. At the same time, Dragon Hill was honored to become the sponsor and venue for the Do Son Tourism Festival 2024.

Also on this occasion, Dragon Hill launched the Light Park with a beauty combining tradition and modernity of nearly 50 large and small landscapes, hundreds of lanterns performed with impressive light and sound. The opening event attracted thousands of visitors, considered an interesting entertainment space, opening up new and rich cultural experiences, suitable for all ages.

Not stopping there, Dragon Hill International Tourist Area is constantly innovating, regularly organizing colorful events with many different entertainment experiences, aiming to bring visitors an exciting time with new surprises every time they visit.

Last year, visitors had the chance to "play hard, party hard" with a great culinary party, enjoy everything from street food to international specialties and "burn" even more when transforming into warriors in "water fights" at the first Water Bomb Music Festival held in Hai Phong on the occasion of the National Day on September 2.

The success of this series of events was recognized when Dragon Hill welcomed more than 200,000 visitors with positive feedback from customers.

In addition to continuously organizing activities to attract tourists, Dragon Hill International Tourist Area is also chosen as the venue for many major events. Most notably this year, Dragon Hill was honored to be chosen by the Organizing Committee of the Miss Vietnam Global Tourism Pageant 2024 as the venue for this large-scale and prestigious contest.

The stage of the contest was invested in a methodical and magnificent manner by the Organizing Committee, with a capacity of 4,000 spectators and the competition of the Top 40 best contestants of the contest, creating many impressions for the Organizing Committee, the Jury, the contestants and the audience watching live on VTV9 - Vietnam Television.

With tireless efforts, in the first 10 months of 2024, Dragon Hill attracted more than 3.5 million visitors, contributing greatly to helping Do Son tourism exceed the plan set for 2024 and Hai Phong tourism also marked a prosperous year when it exceeded 14.1% over the same period.

Also in the past year, Dragon Hill International Tourist Area continuously received a series of awards such as Top 10 Best Resorts in 2023 at the Leading Real Estate Brand Awards Ceremony 2023-2024, Special Award at the 3rd National Urban Planning Awards Ceremony and most recently the title "Best Grass Golf Course" at the Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards 2024 for Dragon Golf Links.

These achievements demonstrate the strong attraction of Dragon Hill International Tourist Area with thorough investment and synchronous development strategy, both in terms of infrastructure and service quality.

A challenging but proud journey

2024 can be said to be a year full of success but also countless challenges for the Investor as well as Dragon Hill International Tourist Area.

Recently, the super typhoon Yagi passed through, leaving behind enormous damage to the North in general and the Dragon Hill International Tourist Area in particular. Being the area at the center of the storm, the Tourist Area after the storm passed through fell into a state of paralysis with heavy damage to the infrastructure.

However, not afraid of the difficulties ahead, the Investor has continuously made efforts to complete repairs and upgrades to the facilities so that they can quickly resume operations. With effective coordination and efforts from the operating units, after only 2 days after the storm, the Tourist Area can reopen to welcome guests with a 90% completion level.

Currently, the Mythical Park Complex including the Water Park and the Light Park is closed for maintenance and upgrading, promising to bring a new look and better experiences to customers.

A strong comeback with a series of "huge" year-end events

With outstanding achievements after the first 10 months of 2024, the Investor expects Dragon Hill International Tourist Area to continue to maintain strong development momentum, creating new steps forward.

The last months of the year are also the key months of the festival season, Dragon Hill promises to return with a series of events launching the creative and explosive Dragon Hill walking street. This will be the event summarizing a proud 2024 with sports, music and culinary activities organized on the "biggest" scale of the year.

And in the near future, Dragon Hill International Tourist Area will launch a nearly 2,000-hectare Mangrove Forest project. The combination of the mangrove ecosystem and entertainment facilities promises to bring a completely new color to the largest coastal urban area in the North.
